Hello Friends,
Recently visited Hotel Rajhans, i wont lie it has been the most awaited place to visit, Hotel Rajhans is the most famous places where you can have dal bafle, Unlike most restaurant, they serve dal bafle every day, where as you can get dal bafle only on sundays or weekends.
The place is in Bada sarafa just a little ahead of sawariya chat corner, Not much hard to find, The ambiance is just similar to a bhojanalaya where you have tables placed in one line with large containers of food on them, and they had a small room in the corner where there are four normal tables placed for people to sit, initially i thought sitting in a small packed room might be suffocating but it turned out to be quiet comfortable.
Now talking about the food, the dal bafla thali had Dal, kadi, Dry alu ki sabji, red chatni, green chatni, bafle, rice, laddu and Masala chach (butter milk), everything that was served was hot and fresh, everything was really really delicious specially the chatni's which was really spicy and tasty, overall i loved the taste, what ever you like you can have it as many times as you want.
No doubt why the place is famous, though i didn't see them serving papad in the thali, where as dal bafla thali also includes papad, but overall food tasted so good that i didn't missed papad in my entire meal.
All the time i was there i observed them making parcels, i guess people take away parcels instead of dining in, which i may be doing too soon.
Overall hospitality was good, service was quick and up-to the mark, place is pocket friendly and would recommend to go with friends and have dine-in.

There is nothing great about the taste of the food. People go here because of the fomo. I'd rather say, a small crowded local place elsewhere, serves more authentic and tasty food.
The crowd is created by just having a small number of tables and seats.
They may have so called legacy and name, but then they can't live up to it.
The rice was stale and hard. Most of the food was not hot. Papad was soggy. Chaas had a smell to it. For a so called upmarket place like this, Hygeine was not maintained at all. Food was being served by bare hands.
Don't go with senior citizens, it's very difficult to reach this place, on the 3rd floor, inside the sarafa bazar.
Customer Service: Very poor.
Went there with my parents, and mother was not well, and we told them she won't be eating anything, but the owner compelled us to take 3 plates. ( Attached a photo of what was remaining on my mother's plate).

But they serve mix dal with it... I requested them tk serve tuar dal but they denied...
If you may bear the taste of mix dal then you may go, otherwise the bati was good along with gatta ki sabji, pyaaz nimbu, hari ar lahsun ki chutney, chach, and lastly churma which they called it as churma but there was the same bati with ghee and jaggery along with tilli(तिल) so although taste was good...
But only the disappointing matter was of dal, as they served the mix dal...
Although taste was good, But I don't like the taste of mix dal, I only prefer tuar dal with the bati, As the original and authentic taste comes with the tuar dal and batti only, Bati or bawfla, kanda bati or whatever but the dal would should always be tuar only...
As they are charing 350/- Rs per person so the option of dal should...
