Repeatedly disappointed with this outlet over the years and finally decided to write a review.
It started out with a few incidents of stale breads and other savouries a few years back. Learnt my lesson and stopped buying for some time. Then a horribly made cake a few months later, as again, it was the only bakery close to where the party was at. Finally a recent feather in their cap is spoiling my cousin's b'day a few days ago.
We pointed out to the staff, our prior experiences, and asked them to recommend their cake which was most fresh, without any preference of flavor. We were suggested a fruit cake. When we took it home and took it out of the box to cut it, a fruit fly immediately left its abode in one of the fruits. As if that was not disgusting enough, the cut piece had a hair embedded into the sponge of the cake. Of course it had to be thrown away and our whole party was spoilt.
In retrospect, I think even though we were dead tired, we should have travelled to a bakery located further away which was an ethical one, committed to providing tasty and healthy food to customers. Alas, this isn't it. I'll try to remember that, and it'll be good if you do too. I'm rather amazed at what gross negligence is observed on the part of this bakery and its staff consistently, order after order. Please purchase or eat anything here at...

We ordered 2 Cakes on ZOMATO today. The rider delivered us both the Cakes in the same carry bag, one on the other, hence, the the cake which was placed lower was suppressed by the weight of upper box and resulted into spilling of the same. The other cake which was placed upper was also having dust particles all over it which was definitely unedible.
When we made a complaint, the outlet people they were not ready to listen at all, they were blaming the rider for the same and asked us to raise the issue with ZOMATO.
They didn't have the basic acceptance and understanding despite being in the service sector that it is their duty to guide the rider or delivery person to carry the things nicely as it will also effect their reputation. They should have also given the rider 2 carry bags instead of one, to avoid this incident.
Moreover, the instructions given while placing the order were also not followed by them. Also, we ordered one Black Forest Cake, but it was not authentic Black Forest. It was having coffee taste, which is not actual BlackForest.

if you want to have something, don't ask staff for the suggestions as they don't know the difference between normal coffee and black coffee.
I requested the person to suggest me strong coffee and as per his suggestion I ordered espresso Americano without checking the menu and they served me black coffee.
Obviously I knew the difference between normal hot coffee and black coffee if I wanted to have black coffee I would have ordered black coffee in the first place but I wanted to have a normal hot coffee and they served me black coffee.
I requested the operator to change it to normal coffee, he said this is the Strong coffee which we have, you can take another one and we will charge you for both.
Why would I pay you for both?? Just because you don't know the difference??
