6 of us went there for evening coffee and tea last week. It was a disappointing experience. Most of our drinks were inauthentic and overpriced. We had ordered 3 filter coffees, 1 iced americano and 1 cappuccino and a kahwa. They served the filter coffees in cutting chai cups, there was no froth and the filter coffees didn't taste great. The kahwa was actually a tea bag that barely tasted anything like a kahwa, mostly like a green tea with some spices. The menu description of the tea was misleading/unclear. It was priced at Rs. 180, which I thought was grossly overpriced considering I can get a superior kahwa (saffron + almonds + cardamom + loose leaf tea) for Rs. 80 at Tapri. Iced Americano came out hot at first. Only the cappuccino was good. Our bill was almost Rs. 900. We had the let the hostess know that 4/6 coffees/teas were disappointing. I recently visited Jaipur and, like every time, made sure to stop by my all-time favourite spot – Cafe Kothi. This was probably my 4th or 5th visit, and trust me, the charm of this place never fades. It’s such a calm, aesthetically beautiful cafe that gives you peaceful vibes the moment you step in.
This time I tried their ragi dosa and a traditional thali – and OMG, it was absolutely delicious! The flavours were clean, soulful, and gave off that ‘Satvik’ feel.
What I love the most about this place is that it’s perfect for everything – be it working for hours, enjoying solo time, or even going on a date. I genuinely feel every city in India should have a place like Cafe Kothi – serene, classy, and so thoughtfully done.
Highly recommended if you’re in Jaipur –...
Read moreWe were so so happy that we found this place! Their food is delicious and the atmosphere is very relaxing, kind and welcome. We visited two days in a row! It was hard to decide what to order since I really liked a lot of dishes on their menu. So we actually always ordered three dishes so we could share.
The avocado toast and the pancakes are really good! The only thing I would like more would be if everything would be served at once. This goes for the food.
The toilet is clean and the staff is very friendly and professional. We got a tour through the rest of the building since they also offer rooms. We couldn’t see the rooms since they were fully booked which I totally understand!
Thank you Raadhia for your kind and...
