One of my friends and self were here for lunch yesterday, and were supremely impressed by the decore, food, service and delivery standards of the restaurant; perfect and seamless.
But the main experience was yet to come. So here's the accident that happend. We had opted for the zomato offer 2+2 and while we paid our bills we used Dine out wallet.
The steward to manager kept saying that we can't club 2 offers together, by using zomato n dine out. They clearly missed understanding that yes we did opt for zomato 2+2 offer however we didn't use any offers from dine out. We simply used the dineout wallet
Yet they had the guts to tell us 3 to 4 times, "You have to pay again through cash or card, this is not accepted" and we were like why wud we pay again!
The steward also said that you should have told us that you will be using Dine Out wallet. However this steward, handedover the bill to is and went back and stood 15 - 20 steps away with his back facing us and there wasn't anyone else around to chk with. Whom do we ask, ghosts?
Then comes the manager, and repeats the se old rubbish of clubbing zomato n dine out, which technically he missed to understand as a manager, that we used the dine out wallet and NOT the dine out offerings. He also said, "Because of you we have to unnecessarily pay commission to dine out" I was zapped and so was my friend, and we said ok get the money paid to you via dine out rolled back we'll pay you by cash or card. Then the manager said, let me check with the management.
Last, he sends us the bill, and to my NO utter surprise, like before, the steward places the bill at our table and vanished..we had to look for someone to come to us and explain what's happening after 5 mins.
The steward mentioned, "Sir said it's ok, you don't have to pay anything".
My question is if we didn't have to pay, why so much drama.
Such a disrespectful experience, no point of having amazing location/venue/chefs/food etc if you as a team shames and disregards the guests and provides treatment like so.

Read moreI had read several great reviews about Meraaki Kitchen and this place stood out. It is warm cozy fine dining located in Civil Lines.
For starters we ordered their Dimsums, the much recommended Vada Pav sliders and their New York Style Fries.
Dimsums - Perfectly blend of spices and generous filling. The outer covering could have been a bit thinner 4.5/5 Vada Pav sliders - 5/5 mini vada pav sliders with sweet and spicy flavour served with pickled onion and dry garlic chutney New York Style Fries - 5/5 The fries were perfectly coated with sauces yet they were crispy. There was a strong flavour of tandoori and chipotle sauce
Not to forget their thick and creamy shakes. The cold coffee and Kitkat shake were rich and blended perfectly with just the right amount of sweetness.
For main course we ordered Paneer Lababdar, Smoked Kofta, Chur Chur Naan and Stuffed Kulcha. We got complimentary salad and papad.
Paneer Lababdar was spicy and creamy. I would rate it a 4.5/5. Smoky Kofta were a bit too full of masala and got slightly bitter so I would rate it 3.5/5 The breads were all crispy and perfectly stuffed.
Since we went there for brunch at 1 it was half occupied so the service was faster than what I had expected based on reviews. The place is of the costly side but given the quality and presentation it is worth it. I had a great experience and would definitely like to visit it again and recommend Meraaki to my friends in Jaipur.

Meraaki Kitchen has a beautiful and lively ambience and has plenty seating both outdoors and indoors. I prefer the outdoors when the weather allows it.
I have been to this place many times and they have recently increased dishes on their menu as well. My experience has been fantastic every single time. LOVE THE FOOD!
Beverages Aam panna- Lovely drink for a summer afternoon
Kala Khatta- If kala khatta is your thing, this drink will become your go-to.
Food There are so many dishes I have tried that I can’t possibly post pictures of all but each one deserves to be written about...
Arancini- Best I have ever had.
Nanizza- Would have liked a bigger stuffing, nonetheless it was nice.
New York Fries- AMAZING!!
Tornado Fries- Very nice plating. Taste was good but if I had to choose, I would pick New York Fries above this.
Stir Fried Rice Noodles with Tofu- FAVOURITE DISH. Flat noodles with so much flavour. MANDATORY ORDER.
Chilly Garlic Udon Noodles- These were fantastic too but I would pick Stir Fried over this. Pro tip- If you order this, ask for a side of Roasted Peanuts, it makes the dish much better.
Khao Suey- The most beautiful plating of the most delicious Khao Suey I have ever had. Meraaki does such a good job at this. I am in love.
Dessert
Parle G Icecream Sandwich- Served on a bed of liquid nitrogen. Pretty cool
Snowball Cheese Cake- Lots of drama (in a good way). It’s one of those things that you can’t repeat but surely need to witness once.
Will I visit again? Already did, multiple times and will do,...
