Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at M.M. Khan Hotel in Jaipur, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. Known for its authentic Mughlai and North Indian cuisine, this iconic eatery lived up to its reputation. I ordered the biryani and Changezi, and both dishes were an absolute delight.
The biryani was aromatic and perfectly cooked, with each grain of rice infused with spices that created a burst of flavors in every bite. The chicken pieces were tender and flavorful, making it one of the best biryanis I’ve had in Jaipur. The Changezi, on the other hand, was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The spices were bold but not overpowering, and the succulent chicken soaked up all the flavors beautifully.
The simplicity of the ambiance reflects the restaurant’s focus on delivering great food, and the service was efficient and polite. Despite being busy, the staff ensured that orders were served promptly and with a smile.
M.M. Khan Hotel is not just a restaurant; it’s an experience that captures the essence of Jaipur’s culinary culture. Whether you’re a local or a tourist, this place is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic and delicious Mughlai cuisine. I highly recommend trying their biryani and Changezi – you won’t be disappointed. I’ll definitely be coming back to explore more from their extensive menu. A great spot for...
Read moreIt's a awesome place to taste the non-veg cuisine with the essence of old mughlai cooking style. The place is may not be suitable for them, who want cozy place to dinner, as the restaurant has always overflowed by food lovers and you have to wait and find your place before order any food. But I would request to every tourist from outside of rajasthan, that you keep your patience and 2 hours during dinner time to taste the real taste of Chicken changezi, Laalmaas, and tandoors.... I can guarantee that no passionate food lover would be disappointed with M M Khan's food. Finally, I am sharing my experience during my official trip to Jaipur. I and my colleague was very hungry at around 9 o'clock in that night, and finding about good non-veg restaurants in food-sites, meanwhile we observed the rush of Khan's restaurant while passing besides it. We planned to try it, but we were not sure about their food, as the place was not happening, we were trying to find any table, but everywhere was food loving hungry people like us, we checked the family cabin also, but we were not allowed to sit there as both of us were male. After a almost 30 mins waiting we finally got a table and, a waiter came and identified that we are not a local people, after that, they provided fantastic hospitality and we just loved their food, that our waiting time not...
Read moreThe craze for MM Khan's food in Jaipur is high. Do visit in the rush hour, and see the crowd here, especially around 7-8. I did try the following-
Chicken biriyani (120 rs per kg), the biriyani was flavourful but was short of chicken pieces (hardly 3-4 small pieces) Mutton biriyani (320 rs per kg), definitely not worth the price, again the biriyani was equally flavourful, but again short of mutton pieces (3-4 pieces) but the mutton was soft. I would suggest to better get chicken biriyani Chicken Changezi (500 rs per kg) again not worth the price as there were very less pieces and more gravy, but the taste was good Chicken tandoori (500 rs per kg) this was good, the taste gets enhanced when you dip the tandoor chicken piece in the pudina chutney, add some onion layers to it, and put it in your mouth. Loved this one
Overall, I liked the tandoori chicken and the flavours of the biriyani....Fells good trying so many varieties here.
Btw they don't accept card payment or online transfer, which I beleive should be included.
Planning for a budget dinner....do come and enjoy some good and budget friendly chicken...
