Santosh Bhojnalaya — Restaurant in Jaipur Municipal Corporation

To all avid travellers, With respect, i want to put my thoughts here.

I went to santosh bhojnalaya in feb 2017 during my Jaipur visit.

I made a specific placeholder for this place in my itinerary after hearing about its history, vegetarian offering ( I always prefer pure veg outlets if available) and above all the speciality which is dal.bati which was my fav however i must say that while the food was no doubt good but it was not something for which i should hv meticulously planned a dedicated trip.

It was also due to one main reason that i belong to AGRA UP , a city already known for offering a good variety of ouside dining experience, the quality of preparation at Santosh was not something very exciting.

No doubt overall thali is good but to my opinion but u will like it only if u r the kind of travellers who has limited exposure to north indian household meals like a foreigner for example or u r looking for simple HHFood- healthy and homely

For me it was a disappointment as i planned a visit to place n it took me considerable timw to reach as i was on the other side of the city .

Approach road --4.5 Ambience...

Santosh Bhojnalaya is a very well known restaurant in Jaipur. It is situated near Jaipur's main Bus stand Sindhi Camp Bus stand when you arrive at Sindhi Camp Bus stand turn a left from exit Gate if the bus stand and walk for around 70 meteres you can see the Santosh Bhojnalaya. This restaurant is pure vegetarian so don't expect any non vegetarian dish here. There are so many restaurants in the by lane of Sindhi Camp Bus stand but Santosh is the most famous restaurant among them you can judge this by the crowd here.

Let's talk about their dishes Santosh restaurant's major attraction is their thali they have thali system which contains Kadhi, Daal 3 vegetables Salad and Raita apart from this 5 chapati rotis Rice and 2 pieces of Rajasthan's most famous dish Bati and choorma and all this at an unbelievable price just rs 100/-...
