When in Jaipur, trying mouth-watering & lip-smacking Rajasthani food is on everyone’s bucket list. Thali and More is one such place where you can treat your taste buds with delicious 'Dal Bati Churma' or a wholesome thali filled with different types of Rajasthani delicacies. Located in C Scheme, this restaurant also offers multitude of Indian, Continental as well as Asian dishes. The furniture with stylish bulbs hanging from the ceiling create an inviting vibe for spending a nice evening. The place is quite spacious with a comfy seating area. We tried their Rajasthani thali, dal baati choorma thali & premium thali. Its a limited thali so one can share. The dal baati choorma thali as 4 baatis 2 plain & one potatoes pea stuffed. I found the stuffed baati better. There are 2 types of choorma besan & other. There is a bowl of daal, kadi, garlic chutney, green chilli pickle. The thali is quite delicious. Costs 390 Rs. Premium thali is north indian. They give a free dessert with the thali. Choice of icecream & gulab jamun. My suggestion would be to reduce the cost of thali nd reduce one baati too. The thali is quite heavy on tummy though being limited one can always share but different choices make sharing tough. Overall food is quite good. Nice ambience m, nice lighting.. Read moreSo I went here for dinner with my family and food was very delicious. The staff is quite polite and well behaved. Ambience is quite nice.
!!!!!!!!!!!! I liked the food here and the quality and quantity both were very good but soup was not up to the mark. The 3 soups costed us a sum of 720 rs and it was served in very small cups and that too were half full only. So don't order soup here. !!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also they have not updated the rates on the menu available on Google and now the rates have risen, so first get an update and I request the owner to update the menu !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Otherwise the 3 thali which we ordered were Chinese, Dal Bati Churma and Standard and these had amazing taste.
Suggestion- If you are going here on weekends then book your table before going because there is a long waiting line. Also thali is very large to finish for a single person so order accordingly. Also don't go for singular food options here, only thali is reasonable, rest is not worth the price.
Lastly ratings: Food-4/5 (deducting 1 just for the soup) Taste-4.5/5 Ambience...
Read more"I recently visited this restaurant in Jaipur based on a friend's recommendation, and I must say it was a delightful experience overall. While the food was a bit spicier than I usually prefer, the staff went out of their way to accommodate my request for a customized salad, which truly impressed me. The service was exceptional, with all the staff being friendly and attentive throughout the meal.
In terms of logistics, the parking situation was off-road and not designated, which could be a slight inconvenience for some. Additionally, reaching the restaurant required climbing about 20 steps to access it on level 1. However, these minor hassles were overshadowed by the delicious and filling food options available. I particularly appreciated the option to share a thali, which is not charged per head. This feature is perfect for those with smaller appetites or for groups looking to sample a variety of dishes together.
Overall, I had a great dining experience at this restaurant and would certainly recommend it to others looking for a tasty and shareable...
