Kaffberry, THE FIFTH AVENUE — Restaurant in Jammu and Kashmir

It is fully vegetarian place. No- no its not a restaurant, it is cafe!! Finding such a place in City of Jammu where fully vegetarian places are few and that too a 100% veg cafe might be a bit perplexing. But the promoters appear to have pulled off a surprise gamble. Stuff is unusual, result of some real innovative thinking. Range is wide with a liberal dose of continental options. The place which does not offer a traditional daal- roti- subzi menu, yet is immensely popular when you see the occupancy. We went there upon recommendation of a relative who would speak of the place in glowing terms. The concept is unique and you don't feel absence of non- veg given the variety and unique options the menu throws at you. The decor and ambience adds to premium look. We have been regular to Kaffberry but their hospitality services are going down everytime we visit the restaurant. The waiter was very rude. We have the order of pasta and pizza only to receive our order 25 minutes later along with another table who ordered just 10 minutes back. Later when the waiter brought the food, we ordered a brownie shake which we received 20 minutes later after we had already finished our food. All this was on a Wednesday afternoon around 2 o clock when there were only 2 tables occupied with 2 individuals on each. We asked the waiter for regular water he filled only 1 glass leaving out the other one. And never refilled the glass. Asked for spoon received fork instead. Then later while leaving we asked for a feedback form to which he answered "feedback form khatam ho gye" just because he already knew the kind of feedback he was...
