I had been craving a nice cup of coffee and a slice of tiramisu. Finally, I had a chance to stop by the Le Delice. When I arrived, the place looked charming. I stepped up to the counter and ordered a large drip coffee and a piece of their tiramisu. The barista nodded and got to work. A few minutes later, he handed me my order. I grabbed a table and took a sip of the coffee. To my dismay, it tasted nothing like the rich, smooth espresso I had been anticipating. Instead, it was watered down and bitter. I winced and set the cup back down. Determined not to let the bad coffee ruin my afternoon.I turned my attention to the tiramisu. I eagerly took a forkful and popped it in my mouth. But as soon as the dessert hit my tongue, I knew something was very wrong. It was horribly dense and dry. Completely disappointed, I gathered my things and hurried out of the place. So much for my relaxing coffee and dessert outing - it had been a total disaster from start to finish. Over-extracted: The coffee could have been brewed for too long, resulting in a bitter, burnt taste. This happens when the water is in contact with the grounds for too long, extracting bitter compounds. Poor quality beans: The beans themselves might have been old, stale, or of low quality, leading to a bitter, unpleasant flavor. Incorrect grind size: If the coffee grounds were too fine, they could have over-extracted, leading to bitterness. Tiramisu: Dry and dense: The tiramisu was described as "horribly dense and dry." This could be due to several factors: Over-baked ladyfingers: The ladyfingers might have been over-baked, making them too hard and dry. Insufficient soaking: The ladyfingers might not have been soaked long enough, leading to a dry texture. Incorrect mascarpone ratio:The mascarpone cheese, which provides the creamy texture, might have been used in too small a proportion, resulting in a denser, drier dessert.

I have been a loyal customer of Le Delicia for years, always enjoying their cakes and bakery products, which were consistently top-notch. However, my recent experience has left me deeply disappointed. Yesterday, I bought a cake from there, and sadly, it was one of the worst I’ve ever had. While the design was similar to what I’ve seen before, the taste was nothing like what I’ve come to expect. It was bland, dry, and overall, a miserable experience. When I arrived at the store, I was told there was no cake ready, and I’d need to wait for 10 to 15 minutes. I understand that cakes might not always be ready, but it quickly became clear that the cake I received was not freshly made—it seemed to be an assembled product that was quickly put together and handed to me. This made me feel like the quality I had come to associate with Le Delicia had slipped, and the product was no longer crafted with the same care. As the saying goes, "If you don't look after your business, it will fall," and it seems this is happening here. The cake was not only disappointing in terms of taste, but the whole experience felt rushed and careless. For the price I paid, the value just wasn’t there. It's truly a shame to see such a renowned brand lose its edge, and I’m unsure if I’ll return anytime soon unless they make a serious effort to improve both the quality and the customer experience.

I've not been to the bakery back when it was operating on its own. So I cant comment on how the food might have been then. But in terms of how it tastes now. I would say that it is rather mediocre. I have tried the cookies, the banana cake, the chocolate tart and the butter croissant (most recently). All of them tasted rather average. Nothing out of the extraordinary. Which is a shame because I was expecting more! based on all the hype that I was hearing. I was expecting it to be something like PAUL'S, where you could get a huge variety of French foods and bakery and a decent tasting hot coffee. Where the attendents wore white aprons and hats and greated you with a smile. But the attendents here, don't show any spirit, they were rather dull. I expected more "je ne sais quoi", since now they have expanded and included the shop that used to be besides it into the bakeries space. But now, that French ambience (which I didnt witness before, but had heard of) is no more. Rather I doubt it has a French identity anymore. Since the restaurant part off the bakery serves chinese, punjabi and whatnot! Oh! and you have to pay the bill separately if you buy any thing from the restaurant bit and same goes for the bakery part. P.S. they don't have the green facade outside anymore. They have coloured it white.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting you bakery shop and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with the delightful aroma of freshly baked goods and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The selection of pastries, breads, and cakes is truly impressive. Each item is beautifully crafted, showcasing the skill and dedication of the bakers. I particularly enjoyed the almond croissant and the sourdough bread, both of which were perfectly baked and bursting with flavor. The customer service at The Baker Shop is top-notch. The staff is not only friendly and attentive but also extremely knowledgeable about their products. They were more than happy to make recommendations and answer any questions I had. It’s clear that they are passionate about what they do and take great pride in their work. The shop itself is charming and cozy, with a comfortable seating area that invites you to sit down and enjoy your treats with a cup of coffee. The attention to detail in both the decor and the presentation of the baked goods adds to the overall delightful experience. In conclusion, The Baker Shop is a gem in our community. The combination of delicious baked goods, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit. Kudos to the entire team for their hard work and dedication. I will definitely be returning soon and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a...

I used to be a frequent to this place once it started. Hang out with friends, get cakes for Eid, weddings etc. But ever since his chef left, the food taste has taken a sharp drop. I still went here for a couple of good desserts they serve. BUT Recently, I made a big purchase of 81 big sweet boxes from here- an order of almost half a lakh rupees. A couple of days later, i went in to make an order for 5 more boxes but all I wanted was a different set of sweets put in. I told them I would pay the sweets and the box. I just wanted the same box to make it look alike with the rest of the 81 I had gotten for my engagement. I requested them with all sincerity but Man was I astonishingly disappointed. The aged man that sits in Le Delice Dal Lake was rude and condescending. They not only refused my humble request but acted as if they are the only place in the whole world selling pastries. Ridiculous to say the least. They showed so much disregard as if I was speaking to a wall. Needless to say, I didnt go through with my order and also decided to never visit or recommend this place again. Rubbish customer service. Zero concern for a loyal customer. Would recommend everyone to stay away if you want to be treated with respect. Their quality of food is getting worse by the day but more their quality of service is beyond redemption. If you are spending some big money for a ceremony like I did, maybe find something worth...
