For mains, indulge in the restaurant's selection of authentic Tibetan entrees, where classic dishes are given a contemporary twist. The Yak Meat Curry, with its tender chunks of yak meat simmered in a rich and fragrant sauce, is a standout, while the Tsampa Stir-Fry, featuring roasted barley flour sautéed with vegetables and spices, offers a unique and satisfying dining experience that is sure to leave a lasting impression.

Complaint Regarding Unhygienic and Unsafe Food from "Lhasa" Restaurant

I am writing to raise a serious concern regarding the extremely unhygienic and unsafe food served by Lhasa. We had ordered Special Fried Rice costing Rs. 400. To our shock, the meat in the rice was undercooked and did not seem fresh at all. Despite the poor quality, we had to eat it due to hunger.

Soon after consuming the food, both my wife and I started experiencing severe loose motions and vomiting. It was a horrible and distressing experience. This kind of negligence is absolutely unacceptable — restaurants like this are playing with the health and safety of their customers by serving rotten and contaminated food.

What’s even more frustrating is that despite paying a high price for a basic dish like fried rice, we did not even receive hygienic food. Instead, it has now cost us our health and we are currently on medication.

I strongly urge others to avoid ordering from this place. There are far better and safer options available. Very very poor...

The restaurant is highly overated. It is normal resturant with only one exception that is its high price, i mean literally high. The fact is that it has got many employees which ultimately feeds on customers money. Now it was fine had it been serving good quality or some extraordinary stuff. It normally offers what other averagely priced resturants offers .we travelled 20-25 kms to have so called nihaari here as it has been recently into the Kashmiri food space. On arrival and further waiting,we finally had our Nihaari for which we had so much craved. It turned out it was so so poor as if it was beef cooked with radish. No taste ,not properly cooked , nothing at all. We were charged ₹630/= for Nihaari, where in at maximum 3 mutton pieces would have been...

Went there recently during Iftiyaar time.. The ambiance of the place is cool. It does have an open space where in you can enjoy your meal.I must say we were welcomed by good amount of iftiyari that was complimentary as well. We ordered food despite being full crowded service provided by the staff was very good. We ordered Mutton nihari which was accompanied by afghan naan, I must say it was very tasty, along with that we ordered my fav buttor chicken which was out of this world. And we did order our favorite chicken biryani which was also very tasty. All in all we had a great experience at this place.. oh I forgot to mention one thing we ordered a soup which wasn’t even billed that was also given as a complimentary to us. This is a must visit place here in srinagar Kashmir.

Lhasa is a Tibetan cum Chinese restaurant located off the Dal Lake Boulevard in Srinagar, though it serves Indian and Kashmiri food too. The place has an indoor courtyard with artificial grass, which offers its patrons outdoor seating along with indoor arrangements. The Tibetan items on the menu and soups are recommended. We had momos and hot manchow soup for starters, which were pretty standard and wholesome. For mains, we tried the Chicken Schezwan rice and Chilli Chicken gravy, the latter of which was surprisingly delicious and loaded with the goodness of chicken and abundant vegetables. Cost for two is about ₹700, and I would recommend this place if you crave Asian food in Srinagar.
