McDonald's — Restaurant in Jammu and Kashmir

I recently visited McDonald’s on Veer Marg, Jammu, and had an exceptional experience, largely thanks to one of the staff members, Mamta. From the moment I stepped in, Mamta's warm and welcoming demeanor stood out. She greeted us with a smile and ensured we were comfortable, making our dining experience much more enjoyable.

What truly impressed me was Mamta's attention to detail and her eagerness to help. When I had a few questions about the menu, she patiently explained the different options and even recommended a few dishes that turned out to be fantastic. Her knowledge of the menu, combined with her genuine friendliness, made the ordering process smooth and hassle-free.

Even during a busy time, Mamta managed to provide prompt service and checked in on us to make sure everything was going well. She went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed without us even having to ask. It’s rare to find such dedicated and caring staff in fast food outlets, and Mamta truly made a difference.

Thanks to her, what was supposed to be a quick meal turned into a memorable experience. I would highly recommend this McDonald’s, not just for its food but for the exceptional customer service provided by Mamta. She’s a true asset...

I would give less than zero stars from Simran Makhi’s customer handing. Called the outlet at the McDonald’s registered number (at 2.52 pm) available on the Zomato app.

I asked if the place was crowded or less occupied than usual since I was planning an outing for a party of 8 friends. She responded in her uncivilised dialect saying “kyun aapko kya karna hai?”… seems like she was uneducated and extremely untrained in her way of talking. Surprising that a slight simple question extracted such a rude and mindless response from this woman. She then hung up abruptly and I called back, asked to speak with her manager because she didn’t know how to handle a customer’s simple query, she said “nahi karani” stating that she won’t allow me to speak to her manger. The height of “jahil” someone can be is apparent from the staff hired at this outlet.

It’s beyond surprising that an international food chain has such people handling the phone who let alone converse decently and in English, can’t even speak Hindi without jahilpan.

I often visit this establishment with my friends, family and even alone few times. Apart from food, which is good, the parking space and the availability of billing counters is always a issue. This McDonald's is located on a Tributary Road of Residency Road Jammu. The lane on which it is located is always over crowded with taxis which makes it very hard to find a parking space. The only parking area in its front is always full. Now talking about billing counters, there are three counters there. But even if the restaurant is full they only operate only two.
