Raja dhaba — Restaurant in Jammu and Kashmir

There is a huge flux of tourists here because of the cab drivers. They work on a commission basis with Raja Dhaba across all branches in Srinagar.

Here is what we had: Dal fry (Jain): 🫤 Almost average, the only decent item. Dum Aaloo: 🫤 Average, much better at other places. Rajma: 🤮 Tasted so bad that we had to return it. He removed it from the bill because he knew Rajma had gone sour. 🤮🤮 Roti(Tawa/Tandoori)🫤: You can make do with it.

The nearby washroom is so pathetic that you just cannot enter. It's a huge place crowded with Travellers and Cabs all because of the Drivers. DO NOT GO THERE. The waiter also explicitly asked for a tip ("baksheesh") as if we...

Vegetarian food, fast service. But it’s crowded - coz either all Tourist cabs stop here or it has generated hype.

Pricing is above average for this kind of place, with a gravy (veg) costing 300 but not worth it.
