WORST EVER... DO NOT VISIT. I visited the restaurant today with my mother for lunch, Ordered a chicken biryani and a mutton kabab. it was the WORST ever biryani i had tasted. it was sub zero temperature and after waiting for almost 40 minutes for the food to be served, I expected a fresh cooked biryani will be served, but instead they served a frozen one. it was very cold and I called up the waiter. he went back and said he will get it warmed. he came back after 5 minutes, biryani was a little warm. It clearly suggested that they had served a biryani which was leftover for more than 2-3 days. Then another waiter came for the feedback and i said the food and service was awful. he replied ' it was dum biryani', to which i replied, it should be cooked afresh or atleast warmed. The Manager was concerned about the bill payment only. since, my family accompanied me , they did not let me to escalate the issue further and I paid the bill and left. the kabab was just ok. So, all just avoid this place. better to have the street food. 800 INR just wasted and above it a precious 1:15...
Read moreI never give feedback or ratings, but today I went to this restaurant with my friend and we ordered malai tikka. When it arrived, there was no gravy like there usually is in malai tikka, and it didn't even look like tikka. We ate two or three pieces and the chicken was raw inside and the gravy was completely absorbed. There were also some burnt pieces. The waiter took away the leftovers, and we told the manager. He asked where it was burnt and tried it himself. He thought we were trying to get a free meal. He only made the bill for the cold drink and ice cream, but I told the waiter to make the whole bill for the malai tikka we ate, even though it was 400 rupees. We still paid 285 rupees, and the manager thought we were doing it for the money. I have been here many times and had good experiences, but today's was the worst. They just put the food in front of you and then think the customer is trying to get...

The dish lacked the rich aroma and depth of flavor that a well-prepared biryani should have. The rice was overcooked and mushy, with an excessive amount of oil that made it unappetizing.
The mutton itself was disappointing—dry, chewy, and not well-marinated, making it difficult to enjoy. Additionally, the portion size did not justify the price, leaving me feeling that it was not good value for money.
While I appreciate the effort, this dish fell short in both taste and presentation. I hope Bay Leaf takes customer feedback seriously and improves the quality of their biryani, as I know they are...
