Eden Cafe Jhansi — Restaurant in Jhansi

Visited a week ago with 2 other friends. We went there because of the hype, came back disappointed and hungry. The restaurant no doubt has a wonderful ambience but they forgot something…THE FOOD! The service staff has some issues. They hardly know their own menu and don’t understand hospitality! I ordered Pasta Aglio Olio with Parmesan shavings on side. The server took the order just to come back with the manager to inform they don’t have Parmesan Cheese. They insisted on adding mozzarella instead ! :| I ordered for a sugarless coffee, and got myself a sugar syrup topped with coffee flavoured milk. Yes, it was that sweet. Had to ask them to get it corrected twice, but they didn’t get it right even then. The only above average item was cheese Nachos. Filling but nothing exceptional. The salsa tasted good. The worst nightmare was the main course. Peri Peri chicken. The Chicken was so overcooked that I wanted to use a Steak knife for cutting it. The continental style herb rice had a weird Indian taste to it. Veggies were almost bland. We ordered mojito and coffees which were just average. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Eden Café, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. The Bhatti Ka Murga and the Green Apple Martini were the highlights of the evening.

Spaghetti Pasta with pink sauce is lovely. Cheese pizza, thin crust is authentic and the toppings are simple and doesn't complicate your pallette. I love food on less spicy side so my review is subjective. Indian food is not worth the prize Especially dhaba style chicken and other similar veg indian main course was bland and not quite good So it's a bittersweet experience Nice cozy place for dates and casual dining.
