Terrible Experience – Never Visiting Again
We went to Ansh by for their buffet after seeing their Instagram post, which clearly mentioned two non-veg starters. We even called a day in advance to confirm. But when we arrived, they said the menu was outdated and that we’d only get one starter. Only after we pushed back did they agree to serve two — not a great start at all.
It only got worse. We waited 2 to 3 hours for the main course, and the food was completely disappointing. The chicken was undercooked, and the paneer gravy was watery and tasted like tomato ketchup.
The staff was careless, gave no updates about delays, and when we told the manager we’d wasted our time and that the food was bad, he was rude and dismissive. His only solution was to knock off ₹200, which felt like an insult — for what we experienced, at least ₹1,000 should have been waived.
We paid ₹3,800 for an experience not even worth half that. It completely ruined our Sunday.
Never visit this place. Ranchi has far better restaurants that offer good food, respectful service, and...

I recently had an unfortunate experience at Ansh.. Initially, I placed an order, only to be informed later that they were unable to fulfill it, leaving me waiting for an extended period. This lack of communication and unfulfilled promises significantly impacted my overall dining experience.
Moreover, the wait was exacerbated by an unexplained delay, testing my patience until I was compelled to leave without being served. Eventually, when my order did arrive, it was a Chicken Kadai with three different flavors. While the dish itself was well-prepared, the disorganized service and the initial disappointment overshadowed any positive aspects.
The lack of consideration for customers, especially students, is concerning. A more transparent and efficient service approach would greatly enhance the overall dining experience. Unfortunately, my visit left me with a negative impression, and I hope that the restaurant addresses these issues for the benefit of...
Read moreHi explorers! So recently I visited Ansh restaurant. You'll find this near Firayalal, first gaali. It's a part of the skyscape restaurant, which is just above ansh. This place is approved for aesthetics, you'll find the famous moon of Ranchi on the wall. The staff were generous and polite.
My favourite part, coming to food: the food is good. We had spaghetti bolognese, green garden pizza, chicken tikka pizza, and some drinks spicy lady, orange mojito and one more (missing the name) but it was cranberry flavoured. Loved the spaghetti, pizza turned out to be quite smaller than expected for the price. Drinks too were a little too much of everything, not worth the price. For the main course we had butter naan, and chicken karra (had four pieces in it, plus 100/- for an extra piece)which was again yum! That's all, overall it's a calm place to chill, portions are small but worth a try. Hope you enjoy! . . Happy eating! Follow me on Instagram...
