I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at "barbeque company", and I must caution anyone considering visiting this establishment. The restaurant's management and overall environment were nothing short of appalling. From an aggressive and violent manager to an owner who lacks basic courtesy and decency, this place is a complete disaster that should be avoided at all costs.
Shockingly, not only did I encounter a hostile and violent manager, but I personally fell victim to their aggression. I was physically assaulted by the manager during my visit, leaving me traumatized and fearful for my safety. Adding insult to injury, the management pressured me into silence, trying to suppress any mention of the assault. This outrageous behavior reflects a complete disregard for customer well-being and a blatant attempt to cover up their despicable actions. It is imperative that potential patrons be made aware of the risks associated with this establishment, where both physical violence and a culture of silence prevail.
Upon entering the restaurant, I immediately noticed an uncomfortable and tense atmosphere. The manager, who seemed to be in a constant state of anger, was openly berating and belittling the staff. Witnessing such behavior was not only disheartening but also created an uneasy and unsafe environment for both employees and customers alike. It is incredibly disconcerting to dine in a place where the staff is subjected to such mistreatment.
Moreover, the owner's rude and uncouth demeanor only exacerbated the already negative experience. Interactions with the owner were met with condescension and dismissiveness. It is utterly baffling how someone in the service industry could possess such a lack of respect for their customers. The owner's behavior was beyond unprofessional, leaving a lasting impression of disdain and animosity.
Beyond the toxic management and rude owner, the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant left much to be desired. The dining area was unkempt, with dirty tables and neglected corners. It was evident that proper sanitization and maintenance were not priorities for this establishment. Such disregard for cleanliness further contributed to a feeling of unease and an overall lack of confidence in the establishment's commitment to customer safety.
In light of these experiences, I implore anyone seeking an enjoyable dining or party experience to steer clear of [Restaurant Name]. Read moreI recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at The Barbecue Company in Ranchi, and I must say it was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. From start to finish, the entire evening was an absolute disaster.
First and foremost, the menu items from the live grill were not adequately served. It seemed like the staff was completely uninterested in providing proper service. The waiting time for each dish was ridiculously long, and it was particularly frustrating when we had to wait a whopping 45 minutes for a simple veg biryani to be served on our table. This kind of delay is simply unacceptable and shows a lack of professionalism and efficiency on the part of the restaurant.
To make matters worse, there was no veg buffet available. We were forced to order dishes from the menu each time, and every single time we had to endure a lengthy wait. It felt like the staff deliberately kept us waiting, making us wonder if they even cared about their customers' satisfaction.
But the disappointment didn't end there. Several items were missing from the menu, including fish in the main course, both veg and non-veg soups, live chat counter items, fruit salad, veg salad, and even dessert items. It was as if the restaurant had run out of ingredients and didn't bother to inform the customers beforehand. This kind of negligence is simply inexcusable.
The overall hygiene of the place was also severely lacking. The seats and dining tables were dirty, and it was evident that they hadn't been properly cleaned in quite some time. The washroom was even worse. It was dirty and to top it off, there was no water or tissues available in the female washroom. This level of neglect is not only unsanitary but also disrespectful to the customers.
In conclusion, my dining experience at The Barbecue Company in Ranchi was nothing short of a disaster. The poor service, long waiting times, missing menu items, unclean seating and tables, and the lack of basic amenities in the washroom made it a truly pathetic experience. This establishment needs to take appropriate action to address these issues and improve their standards significantly. Read moreIt was a horrible experience. They are simply fooling & looting the customers. I along with my family visited this fraud restaurant four days back. Upon entering this hotel, a lady staff running came towards us. We asked the lady whether buffet is ready, she happily said yes and requested us to sit. As there were not a single customer & the way staff were responding, we smelled something fishy is there. Since I was with family, burried all my suspicion & asked them to serve the starters. To utter shock, they brought first chilli chicken which was stale, we threw out after taking single bite. I shouted at them then their chef came & told us that they will make again & serve. Meanwhile, we tried other starters which were equally bad. Then we thought of having main course , when we went towards main course items all pots were empty. They had not served single item. Again I shouted at them then chef came once again started saying that main course is not ready because there is no customer so we haven't served any food in the pot. I told them then you should have told us earlier itself, your lady staff kept us telling food is ready pls pls take sit sir. We decided to leave this hotel immediately & asked them to get the bill for whatever we have eaten so far. To utter shock they handed over the the bill of above Rs4k as we were four people. I asked them how could you add the bill of four people when we have not eaten anything except that stale starters. I told them to revise the bill but they were hell bent & started arguing with us. I also talked to their owner over phone, he started giving excuses that for food optimization they hadn't served main course. Since I was with family, paid the total bill whatever they had charged. Had I been alone or not with family, I would have taught them a lesson. So, I request people not to visit this restaurant as they are frauds & have been trained to shamelessly cheat...
