Lord of the Drinks: A Ranchi Revelry, with Room for Improvement

Mall of Ranchi's Lord of the Drinks promises a medieval-tinted revelry, and while it delivers on the vibrant atmosphere, our recent visit had its ups and downs.

The creamy penne Alfredo pasta hit the comfort food spot, and the paneer tikka sizzled with savory charm. Both portions were generous, leaving us pleasantly full. The mocktail, a fruity concoction bursting with citrus, provided a refreshing counterpoint.

However, the red wine left a slight sting of disappointment. For a place boasting an extensive drinks menu, the Rioja lacked the expected depth and complexity. It felt like a missed note in the symphony of flavors.

The ambiance is undeniably lively, buzzing with conversations and laughter amplified by the exposed brick walls. Live music added an extra layer of energy, although finding a quiet corner for intimate chats might be a challenge.

Overall, Lord of the Drinks serves a satisfying feast for the senses, but with a few reservations. The food delivers, although the wine faltered. I am very disappointed and feel sorry to criticise such huge chain in the space of food and beverage Industry. I have visited some of the outlets of LOTD. Had a amazing experience. Recently on Monday evening I tried to visit the Ranchi outlet of LOTD.But, the host didn’t welcomed us by saying that the stag entries are not allowed and i didn’t see that they were actually following the house policy it was more like they made the choice to not letting us in. I think it’s very important job for the hosts to be polite and be very transparent with reasons when they don’t allow the guest to Enter. so they can have the enthusiasm to come again. I strongly believe that the management should look through this issue and briefing and digging more to their hosts that it’s not always how do you greet your guests when you welcome them but also how they should communicate well and with right etiquette’s to the guest when they are not welcomed. I am sorry but i thought i should share my experience and please take this as a good criticism...
