Our recent visit to this restaurant was an absolute disaster, starting with their so-called "TCM Signature Aloo Chaat." From the first bite, it was clear that something was terribly wrong. The dish had a very unpleasant taste, was served cold, and the potatoes seemed stale.
We called the waiter to inform him about the issue and asked multiple times for them to re-check the dish. Without even consulting the chef, they dismissively and rudely responded, "Few people don't get the taste, and it is alright." This attitude was shocking and unacceptable.
Despite this, we decided to pay the bill. However, we noticed an extra charge of 8 Rs. When we asked about it, we were told they didn't have change. This seemed like a poor excuse, and it was strange that they only informed us after we noticed the discrepancy.
Curious, I checked their review book and found multiple mentions of the same issue with the TCM Signature Aloo Chaat. When I mentioned that I would leave an online review, they suddenly offered me something in return, which felt like an attempt to cover up their poor service.
To make matters worse, after returning home, we started feeling nauseous and developed a very bad taste in our mouths. This experience was not only disappointing but also concerning for our health.
I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant, especially for their TCM Signature Aloo Chaat. The combination of bad food, poor customer service, and dubious billing practices makes this place a...
Read moreMy recent visit to The Caffeine Ministry was an interesting experience. As soon as I stepped inside, I was transported to a bygone era with its classic and royal retro ambiance. The decor and atmosphere were truly unique, and it felt like dining in a different time.
For my meal, I ordered the Margarita Pizza, which, to be honest, didn't quite live up to my expectations. It was just average, lacking that authentic and flavorful touch that I look for in a good Margarita pizza. However, the disappointment from the pizza was quickly forgotten when I tried the Kaffir Tea.
The Kaffir Tea was an absolute standout. It was a refreshing blend of flavors, and the use of Kaffir herb leaves was a genius touch. The tea had a soothing quality that felt both invigorating and calming at the same time. It's a must-try for anyone visiting the cafe.
The service was decent, and the staff were friendly, though not overly attentive. Pricing was reasonable, considering the unique ambiance and the quality of the Kaffir Tea. Overall, Caffeine Ministry Cafe is worth a visit, especially if you're a fan of exquisite tea experiences and a touch of...
Read moreInteriors - 8/ 10; They have done a great job at makeover of an old house. Indoor seating is very crowded and outdoor seating is filled w traffic noise.
Food- 5/10; Pizza was average can be tried. Loaded nachos were horrible, nachos weren’t crispy, bean filling was cold and extra sweet. Ice tea was like you have in any other cafe.
Management- 3/10; We were seated in a small room, which technically should have only one table for 6 people BUT it had total of three tables for 10 people- this made it too crowded and noisy as all tables could hear each other. SO we 4 people decided to move to the hall table, the staff refused saying it is a weekend so we cannot allot a table of 8 to 4 people. We said that okay when a larger group comes we will shift no problem, but inside is too crowded. Staff denied. THE TABLE WAS NOT RESERVED AND WAS EMPTY THROUGHOUT THE 1.5hrs WE WERE THERE. Only good part they were patient while clicking our pictures and the service was fast. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND IT TO A FRIEND + there was a mice...
