SERVERVED NON - VEG INSTEAD OF VEG ------- This has happened with us if this happens with you too then just know you can sue a restaurateur for this as there is a privity of contract between you and the restaurateur from the moment you placed the order. The mistake was due to negligence of the restaurant staff and the owner will be vicariously liable for the faults of his/her staff.

When you were served non vegetarian food (which you didn't ask for), the implicit contract between you and restaurateur was violated and there is an injury. You can also claim damages if you are an ardent vegetarian and your sentiments were hurt because of non veg food.

You can also take the route of Consumer forums as there is a deficiency in service when you were served the non veg food.
