I recently had the opportunity to dine at this place, and overall, it was a delightful experience worth sharing.
Ambience: The ambience has an overall good vibe—inviting, comfortable, and well-suited for both casual meals and special occasions. The lighting is pleasant, and the seating arrangements allow for a relaxed and cozy dining experience.
Food: The food is quite flavourful and delicious. Each dish we tried was thoughtfully prepared and well-presented. A standout starter for me was the Crispy Paneer. While it was a bit spicier than I expected, the texture and flavor balance made it enjoyable. Spice lovers would particularly appreciate the kick it brings.
The real star of the meal, however, was the Gulab Jamun with Ice Cream. This dessert was a game changer for me—it was my first time trying this combination, and I was genuinely impressed. The warmth of the soft, syrupy gulab jamun paired perfectly with the cold creaminess of the vanilla ice cream. It’s a must-try and definitely felt like a worthy indulgence.
Overall: A great place with a good vibe, satisfying food, and memorable dessert options. I’d recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a mix of traditional and modern flavors in a comfortable setting. Looking forward to...
Read moreVisited this lovely spot recently and was quite impressed with the overall experience.
Mocktails: We started off with two mocktails – Peru Pyala, a delightful blend of guava juice with a spicy twist. It was refreshing and packed just the right amount of punch. The Orange Blossom followed with its creamy texture and subtle orange notes – smooth, appetizing, and well-balanced.
Starters: We tried the Paneer Tikka and Hara Bhara Kabab – both served in good portion sizes. The kabab was paired with a side salad which was slightly on the salty side. The paneer was soft and well-marinated, grilled to perfection.
Main Course: The Veg Bhul Bhul, featuring vegetable balls mixed with crushed paneer, was full of flavor though slightly oily for my taste. The highlight of the meal, however, was the Veg Dum Biryani – extremely flavorful, aromatic, and satisfying.
Service & Ambience: The service was prompt and the staff were warm and courteous throughout. The ambience was excellent – a perfect blend of cozy and elegant, making the slightly high price point feel justified.
Final Verdict: Though a bit on the pricier side, the quality of food, presentation, and overall atmosphere make it well...
Read moreWe had a disappointing experience at Saffron Saga. The starters they suggested were the same on every table, showing a lack of variety. We specifically asked for a non-spicy paneer starter for a patient with ulcers, and despite the manager's assurance, the dish arrived spicy.
The rest of the food was okay, but the service was incredibly slow. We ordered our main course at 11:15 PM and waited until 11:55 PM without any food arriving. When we asked to cancel the order, the manager tried to be over-smart, claiming it hadn't even been 15 minutes since we ordered. After checking the system, he admitted the order was placed at 11:17 PM. He asked us to wait another 5 minutes, but still, no food came.
We finally decided to leave and asked for the bill, which took another 10 minutes. Even then, the manager made mistakes in the calculation, and we had to correct him.
The whole experience was so bad that we left without proper food. We noticed other tables having similar issues, with some even shouting at the manager about the service.
DO NOT VISIT this restaurant just because it looks nice and aesthetic from the outside. I do not recommend it at all. Very...
