Last Sunday i visited The Oterra Hotel which is located at E-City. They had a Sunday Brunch going on at the restaurant named "24@43" and i was just amazed to see the spreads they had curated for the brunch and also was fascinated with the ambience here.
Firstly coming to the ambience, the place looks very peaceful yet lively. there's greenery around you as well which even gives you that lush effect/vibe. Really spacious the place is and i also love the seating comfortability. i would say this place is perfect for your weekend brunch events. food is served indoor and outdoor as well.
Service was A-Grade, no issues here. perfect.
Staff behavior was absolutely professional yet friendly and very suggestive on the food choices which i loved. it's great when you have a interactive staff. Kudos for that.
Food was just brilliant, fresh food and they like to keep it simple yet gives you the foodgasmic feels. loved the Poori Channa ( Bombay Style ) and the Kothu Parotta being the highlights tor me. but just by saying that even the starters were great as well as the grills/barbeque and do try out the basa fish grill if you visit it as it's so tender, delicious taste and really well cooked. totally forgot to tell you about the chaats which were insane to taste especially the pani puri and all the other chaats too. everything here was well presented. Also do try out the desserts here as they have healthy options for dessert here and as well as your normal sugar coated one's too. overall i loved the food spread here as there was so much going around and so much to try but they made lots of Options available for the customers here and that's the best part.
Drinks we tried the filtee kaapi ( madras style ) and then do try their welcome drink "Blue Ocean" and also tried the apple mocktail which was fab. they have a good Collection of Sula Wines here so do check them out too. the bartender did a great job with the drinks. I'm completely happy.
MY RATING : 5/5

Ambience & Setup:
Located inside a business hotel, 24, 43 Restaurant offers a spacious and well-organized dining area. The buffet spread is visually appealing, especially the dessert section, which gives off the vibe of a high-end Swiss bakery. However, there was a delay in setting up the buffet—despite booking a 12 PM slot, the actual setup was only completed around 12:30 PM, which meant a frustrating wait before getting started.
Food & Variety:
The brunch buffet had a multi-cuisine live counter, offering a mix of dishes ranging from Indian street food (chaats, millet-based salads, paniyaram) to Japanese pancakes and grilled vegetables. The dessert counter was one of the biggest highlights, with beautifully arranged gateaux in flavors like raspberry and blueberry, making it an Instagram-worthy experience.
Taste & Quality:
While the variety was impressive, the taste did not match expectations. • Hits: The salads and chaats were fresh and enjoyable. • Misses: Most other dishes tasted basic and lacked depth. The desserts, while visually stunning, did not leave a lasting impression in terms of flavor. • Mocktails were included in the buffet, which is rare, but they were overly sugary, made with REAL brand juice. Given the restaurant’s focus on healthy ingredients like millets and quinoa, a healthier beverage option would have been more fitting.
Vegetarian Experience & Hygiene:
A major downside was the shared pan for vegetarian and non-vegetarian items at the live counter. For a place offering an extensive buffet, maintaining separate cookware would be a more thoughtful approach. This was a significant drawback for the vegetarian experience.
Pricing & Value for Money: • Deal Price (Swiggy Dineout - 50% off): ₹3,000 for two – Good deal for the variety offered. • Full Price: ₹5,400 for two – Not worth it, given the taste and overall experience.
Final Verdict:
⭐ 3/5 – Good variety, great presentation, but underwhelming taste and execution. Wouldn’t visit again unless there were improvements in food quality and...
Read moreReview by our Team Ghatotkatcha Who doesn't love Sunday Brunches!! Here in Oterra, they have curated an amazing Sunday Brunch. The Brunch ranges from World cuisine to local street style Indian dishes. With Pool Access too, your brunch will be a memorable one. Cocktails and Mocktails galore, this is the place where you can come with friends and family for a fantastic Sunday. The main thing which had the consistency here is the wonderful hospitality, they are wonderful and no doubt in that. This brunch is named as The Brunch Connection, to make your bond stronger with family and friends with just not food but a range of fun filled activities of all age groups. Every Sunday, they have a new theme and this Sunday was Parsi food.
You get welcomed with a cooler for the upcoming summer and heat in the lobby, then starts the never ending range of Brunch. With lots of greens which are cut perfectly in different shapes or I rather call them Instagramable vegetables spiced perfectly. Chicken, Panner and fish tandoor starters are served to start the meal very well. Also wine is poured for the alcoholic option. The Chat counter is really interesting with Delhi style chats included Gol Gappas, Palak Patha chat and what not. Live pasta counters serving pastas customised by you. Portuguese grills are a complete hit.
For the Parsi cuisine, they have Sali Murg, Mutton Dhansak, Sali Peru edu, Methi mach curry. The Madras tea stall here is really interesting and represents the road side stalls where they have filter coffee served in a brass cup and saucer, egg puffs and other snacks.
Pav Bhaji and Kheema pav, Chola Puri is again promising. An English Roast Chicken is also a part. Live Kothu Paratha preparation is a feast for the eyes and also the tongue. When can a meal be completed within Biryani, here was the amazing Dindigul style Mutton Biryani too with Jeera Samba Rice and lots of pepper.
Desserts here need an extra stomach. Fresh cakes and pastries are a delight. Butterscotch, chocolate tarts and what...
