Amanthrana Hotel — Restaurant in Karnataka

Visited this restaurant recently for lunch , the restaurant is located on a main road near a circle. The map directions are accurate.

Coming to the food we ordered -

North indian thali - The thali was just bizzare ! First i recieved soup which was super sweet and tasted like tomatoes and cream . Then i recieved the thali which consisted of .1 The roti was a little under done,It could have been roasted a little more . .2 Beetroot palya was just too weird tasting for me to finish , it had a weird taste which it seemed like they either added spices or spice powders to it . .3 panner curry - it was the one decent thing that i was able to eat without any complaints , it was decent . .4 Samber - this is the bizarre thing, he doesn't provide rice with the thali then what exactly am i supposed to eat Samber with ? .5 veg rice - i have absolutely no clue what rice this is, it looked like fried rice but tasted like spiced rice with Vegetables. It was bland , and pretty bad i could finish it only thanks to dal . .6 dal - thank god he didn't screw up dal , it was decent and went well with the veg rice given .7 Gulab jamun - again decent nothing great about ,. The jaaun was a little hard for my taste .

Overall pretty disappointing food for the price , the prices aren't even that cheap . The service is inconsistent . The server is sometimes present sometimes not . The restaurant does have good ambience and good seating place.

Good hotel in Kalaburagi for dining and staying. As it is in the heart of the city, easily accessible.Located in a very convenient place. Vegetarian food is tasty and reasonably priced.South and North Indian dishes are available. Among snacks I enjoyed Dahi-Wada ( Wada made of black gram soaked in curds.Supplied with spicy toppings) especially during summer season. Clean and pleasant environs. Nicely maintained. Staff are friendly and polite. You may opt for open dining also.Some space is earmarked for open space lovers like me. Small cut steel glasses used for serving water caught my eyes, for such small glasses hold reasonable quantity of water that a person can drink at a time. Hence drinking water is not wasted. This place is located in the midst of Kalaburagi city i.e. @Jagath circle 🔴 it's next to the busy road 🚧 where you can see lot of bikes, autos, city buses pass- too much noise pollution. But once you enter inside you may prefer AC or Non AC section🏔️. There's enough space for parking 2 wheelers🏍️ 4 wheelers 🚗 at or infront of the hotel. Visited many times with my family, school 🏫 friends, MBA friends because of the taste😋.
