KFC — Restaurant in Karnataka

One of the best places non-vegetarian restaurants that I have visited in Gulbarga.

To begin with: Most non-vegetarian places in Gulbarga have an unusually bad odour emanating from within as we enter them. But KFC, Gulbarga has a clean & fresh smell as we enter it.

Secondly, the girls at the sale-counters are very responsive to customers. They often even help customers to make choices with regards to their meals. They suggest the 'flavour' of the day & also the 'deal' of the day

Thirdly, order delivery is very swift and very fast. Most times, we get our orders within less than 6 minutes even, even on week-ends!!

(This was one feature of KFC, Gulbarga that nearly shocked me mildly! They mostly deliver our orders within about 5-6 minutes, while it takes over 20-25 minutes in other restaurants! The swiftness in which orders were delivered has left me mildly shocked!)

Fourthly, the taste, of course, is the usual finger-lickin good as Col Sanders promises in every ad!

Fifthly, they also have Burgers, Fries, and Rice-bowl on their platter! So it's not as if we can expect only 'fried chicken'' on the menu

Sixthly, they offer a tour of the kitchen for the 'Doubting Thomases' amongst us! (Although I have never taken this tour, I'm 200% sure Col Sander's kitchen would be just as up to his high standards as with his products!)

Seventhly, they serve lemon-ade and orange-ade along with the usual soft drinks

Last (but definitely not the least!) Prices are very reasonable (We thought all over-head expenses of running this establishment in a prestigious mall in the centre of the city would be passed on to the customer!)

But nothing of that sort seems to have happened! The prices are reasonable and within reach of common farmer like me!

All in all: KFC, Gulbarga is a great place to dine on week-ends. And also a wonderful eatery to have your lunch on week days

KFC Original Recipe Chicken has been a huge part of my childhood. As a kid my aunt would walk me home from school and we would stop at the KFC that was a half a block from my school. We’d share chicken and a strawberry parfait they used to sell. Unlike the Pioneer Chicken that my mom used to buy, this food memory is one I can still enjoy anytime I wanted.So why make a copycat recipe of it if you have one a mile down the road? Well, A: Copycat recipes are a ton of fun and B: Way, way, way, way higher quality. Have you been to a KFC in the last decade? I’ve only been a few times but was disappointed each time because the chicken pieces have shrunken… a lot. Also, and hey to each his own (I’m definitely guilty of my fair share of food sins), but KFC uses MSG in the recipe for its KFC Original Recipe Chicken. Oh, and last thing, as far as fast food goes, it tends to be pretty pricy.

So here we are all trying to decode the famous 11 herbs and spices. Everyone has theories, and according to KFC no one has EVER been right. So I have sort of watched the copycat rounds develop from a distance. Then something pretty awesome happened.

food reporter for the Chicago Tribune visited the nephew of good old Colonel Sanders himself. He has memories of this recipe that he used to make by the bucket. And lo and behold he has a copy of the recipe in an old scrapbook. So of course the reporter snaps a picture and proceeds to bring it back to Chicago for some serious...

For the second time we had an very disappointed bad experience in KFC ORCHID MALL GULBARGA, last time 9months back also we had very negative response experienced by staffs of kfc orchid mall Gulbarga (they are denied to deliver food in store by 10:50pm, but got it by ordering through Swiggy on same time) this is already we posted in review by my friend, and we thought even after several bad negative reviews received they improved theirs service towards customers, but unluckily today by 10:30pm(30/01/2025) we visited there but again the counter staffs behaviour was not satisfactory as by that time he told they are closed and they have only one option to order (note that store door was still open) finally we were forced to walkout from there , I wrote here my experience and even I don’t whether any of them will read this or will try to make theirs store service better . Rest all my KFC stores experiences are so good, also I’m sending this experience to kfc costumer care team also , will see what changes will going to happen . Expecting this franchise owner will guide his team to give good experience and service towards...
