You were looking for somewhere to eat? You're not anymore. This is it.
It's a family restaurant, and the recipes are all from the grandmother. The flavors are all slightly different from the rest of the Indian food in the area. It's both incredibly good and a welcome change. The friend who swore to strangle the next person to give her a dosa had a field day here.
I got dinner here once with a couple friends, and then we got the whole group and returned for dinner again the next day.
The food is so good. Only recommendation is to go with a group large enough to try everything. Accept any items the staff recommend. The bread was incredible. I think we ordered five rounds before restraining ourselves. The ghee rice is excellent. Don't discount the green mutton dish because it's green. It's amazing. The chicken is so so so good, and it is an injustice not to mop up all the sauce.
The staff are so friendly and attentive. They constantly want to bring you more food. In most places, you want them to stop doing that, but here it felt like they're so excited to have you try everything that they'll just bring you free food. I left generous tips both times we went.
