Dinki Dine Veg Restaurant has always held a special place in my heart, as it has been a part of my childhood memories. I fondly recall savoring their gobi manchurian and grape juice, which were absolute standouts back then. The food had a unique charm that made each visit a delightful experience. However, my recent visit left me deeply disappointed, as the quality and taste of their dishes seem to have taken a significant downturn.
The gobi manchurian, which was once my favorite, was the biggest letdown. It lacked the crispiness and flavor it used to have, and the dish tasted bland due to insufficient salt and seasoning. It felt like a shadow of its former self, and I couldn’t give it more than a 2/10. Following this disappointment, I tried their dahi puri, which was equally uninspiring. The dish was dry, lacked the creamy tanginess one expects, and left no impression — another 2/10.
The sev puri fared no better. The restaurant used flat puris, which threw off the balance of textures and flavors. The entire dish felt off, as though it was hastily put together without attention to detail. Lastly, I tried their gudbud, a dessert I had hoped would redeem the experience. While it was passable and certainly better than the rest of the items, it was still only average at best, earning a 6/10.
It’s disheartening to see a place that was once synonymous with good food lose its charm. Dinki Dine used to be a haven for comforting, flavorful vegetarian dishes, but my recent experience makes it hard to recommend. I truly hope the management works on bringing back the quality and consistency that made this place special in the first place. Until then, it’s hard to see...
Read moreI am giving this place only one star, and even that feels generous. The single star is solely for the hardworking team members who open the doors, assist with parking, and greet guests warmly. Their welcoming smiles and friendly demeanor make guests feel appreciated. However, beyond their efforts, this hotel deserves zero stars.
My experience here has been one of the worst I’ve ever encountered in the hospitality industry. I’ve visited numerous hotels, and while I’ve always felt welcomed and valued, this place is an exception. Despite the positive greetings from the support staff, the management and front desk staff, particularly the manager, provide a very disappointing experience. The manager lacks basic customer service skills, struggles to handle issues effectively, and fails to communicate clearly. It feels as though the hotel doesn't prioritize its guests or business.
If they’re truly interested in running a successful establishment, they need to improve significantly in these areas. Service is slow, non-cooperative, and often unclear. Requests for room cleaning take hours, and the manager seems inattentive, uninterested, and unresponsive. This lack of professionalism and poor communication is unacceptable in the hospitality industry.
I would strongly advise against staying here or booking any events at this hotel. The support staff deserves recognition, but the core management needs a serious overhaul to make this place worth...

Check-in experience: usually all hotels check you in to the room based on a single ID & then take the other ids. However we could get into the room only when three of our IDs & full payment was made. Check in wasn’t a happy experience not even a glass of water was offered. we had travelled 4 hours & wanted to get into the room quick to use the washroom badly. The check in staff treated us like if we were let into the room we wouldn’t pay or give the remaining ids.
Room:we had a room with 2 double beds. room was spacious & well lit. Bathrooms good too, though our bathroom bathing space had a water clogging issue. Hotel is on the main road and conveniently located. Autos & local buses are easily available, airport is 30 mins. BP petrol pump adjacent to the hotel has a convenience shop which also serves fresh fruit juice in bottle. There was this eating place by the footpath about 200mts way smoked grill taxi, there are 2 banks, also a ferns & petals for cake...
