Dollops is all about good food and relaxed vibes. While it's not the most stylish joint in town, its minimal ambiance delivers a comfortable and casual atmosphere perfect for unwinding after a long day. The soft lighting during evenings adds a touch of warmth, making it ideal for a laid-back dinner with friends. They stick to tried-and-true recipes, dishing up classic Indian staples and well-spiced Chinese favorites. Don't expect molecular gastronomy, but be prepared for honest, flavorful food cooked with care. Portions are generous and prices are fair, making it a wallet-friendly option compared to some pricier restaurants in town. The service is typically friendly and efficient, although things can get a tad slow during peak hours. But hey, that just gives you more time to soak up the laid-back atmosphere and enjoy the company.

I've been frequenting this restaurant since I was a child. I've spend birthdays as I was a teen in the 90s in Dollops. I visted Dollops often during my study days too. I visited here recently after a long time since I live and work abroad now. The food is still fantastic unlike many great restaurants that lose their panache after popularity. I was also happy to know that the place has expanded and more options are available. I still stuck to my standard menu though, probably because it brings back pleasant childhood memories. Situation almost exactly on tiger circle in Manipal, this place is student friendly and family friendly. But the best part is the yummy food and great ambience!

The ambiance of the establishment is characterized by a thoughtfully subdued lighting scheme that creates a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. The menu offers a diverse selection of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. While the flavors of the dishes were competent, they did not stand out as particularly distinctive compared to other dining venues. The service was prompt and the staff members were notably courteous and approachable. The restaurant tends to experience high patronage on weekends. It is worth noting that all non-vegetarian dishes adhere to halal standards.

Thriving restaurant for both family and friends with a very chill vibes. Seating may be a bit hard to get but it's on first come first serve basis so even if you have to stand around a bit it's still possible. The food was delicious and we'll made; the chicken momos were meaty, the icecream was one of the best- it didn't melt fast and was a well stabilized one, the juice was also just right - basically the food was really good. There's a wide variety of options on the menu too and so I'd reccommend y'all to try out this place atleast once.

It used to be my go-to place in Manipal when I was in college. And, I was relieved to find out that they have been able to uphold the same service and quality even after several years. It is conveniently located near the Tiger Circle or "TC" and they have even done some expansion in the inside area to increase the seating capacity. As usual, this time too, the food was lip-smacking and all of the older employees who were still working there could recognize me! So, it definitely felt like homecoming šš¤

One of the best Chicken Biriyani I've ever had š¤¤, my mouth is still watering when I'm thinking about the food. It was an unexpected visit for me to this place where my friend took. The biriyani and the starter chicken semi gravy was the best choice with good quantity. The place was in high demand as it was crowded because of it's taste and also an amazing ambiance . And the menu right now in the Google is out dated so if anyone goes there please update it on google. #Must visit place
