Dosa Point — Restaurant in Karnataka

One of the best places to have dosae in Mysuru. The open butter masale dosae was soft and the chutney was the real winner in this. And the extra butter Definitely made the dosae really more delicious. This dosae easily comes in my list of top 5 dosae I've had.

However, Masala Sagu dosae wasn't as good as I expected it to be, though the dosae was very crisp and topped with lot of nandini ghee which was rather poured on it generously, the sagu proved to be rather bland and didn't meet up to the expectations.

We know this place for 10 years now, and the quality was amazing. We had indeed recommended this to many people.

Now however, quality has gone down. Dose is not smooth. 3 stars for dose.

But my 1 star is for the attitude of owner. She acts as if she is doing a favour to customers by selling dose. The old owner was very courteous and never confused orders inspite the crowd. She cannot handle more people, often confuses orders and inspite of acknowledging that, she has a don't care attitude towards customers.

Place though serves good dosa, but if you are looking for parcel then here's an alert. They won't parcel sambhar with dosa. Even if you are ready to pay extra and bring your own container. Logic,? They say you eat dosa with chutney. Sorry, you cannot decide how I will eat my dosa n I just found a better place that were glad to parcel sambhar without even asking and extra charge.
