The food is just fine. But, there’s a lot to be improved in terms of service. While the steward was taking our order, he just rushed out without mentioning anything. This was really odd. He didn’t even bother to explain but I understood that he went out to arrange parking for some other customers. Not sure why he had to do it. There’s a security guard for that. We had clearly mentioned to get us bottled water at room temperature but they provided us chilled water. Even after asking to take back the chilled water and provide us water at room temperature, no one did. Also, I’d ordered a pineapple juice which never came. When it was time for billing, I told them that we’d not touched the water bottle and they shouldn’t bill us for it. The server conveyed this to his colleague, making his irritation rather evident. Not sure why he was irritated. I should have been irritated as I never got what I asked for. When I got the bill, the pineapple juice I’d asked for was included. I told them that they should deduct it as I never received it. To this, the staff said that they can’t do it and they will provide it to me now or as a takeaway. I politely declined and explained that I didn’t need it anymore. To this, the staff asked me with whom I’d placed the order, called the person and said that he should pay ₹80 as I’m refusing to. He then grudgingly said ok, pay ₹80 less. I told him to deduct the GST as well and he said there wasn’t any on juice! I explained, paid and left. I’ve never had such a bizarre experience before. Visited this place after a really long time — this time with my family — and I must say, the experience was totally worth it! Located in Vamanjoor, slightly on the outskirts of Mangalore, this spot truly lives up to all the hype.

Let’s talk about the food (because OMG! 😍): We started off with Drums of Heaven, and honestly, I’d give it a solid 15/10 — it was that good! Juicy, packed with flavor, and absolutely lip-smacking. Next came the classic combo of Butter Naan and Chicken Kolhapuri, and once again, this place didn’t disappoint. The chicken was rich, creamy, and cooked to perfection — another 10/10 from us. We also tried their Thai Fried Rice on the staff’s recommendation. It was spicy and alright, but not the best fit for our taste — would rate it 7/10. As for the mojitos, they were pretty average, nothing special — around 5/10.

Now, the only downside: The service is super slow. Be ready to wait a long time for your food to arrive — that's definitely an area they need to improve. But honestly, once the food comes, you almost forget the wait!
