We dined here to celebrate a birthday in the family. Our original plan was to go to Kapoor's Cafe which is on the fourth floor but then in the elevator we read the Rs.499 offer and stopped on the second floor to check. We were greeted by Prasanna, the manager, at the reception desk. Well, everything appeared ok so we decided to give The Barbecue Kingdom a try.

That afternoon the place wasn't busy because apart from us we noticed only one more table being served. The main buffet spread was not very elaborate but for me that was ok because I personally go to barbeque restaurants like these for the starters and then finish my meal with some desserts so I was more curious about the quality of starters that were going to be served. I must say that the starters did not disappoint! The hakka chicken was tender and delicious. My kid and I simply loved it. The prawns were very good; they were my favorite. We requested malai chicken tikka instead of the regular chicken tikka because my kid loves it. Rajesh, the server for our table, obliged and confirmed with the chef. Two on our table had opted for veg and the feedback was that paneer and mushroom starters could have been better. The dessert spread is ok but could be better. Mini muffins and a couple of other baked items did not taste fresh but the rasogullas and gulab jamuns were good, also my kid gave a thumbs up for one milk chocolate like dessert. There are no options for welcome drink, only tang mango is served.

At the price point of Rs.549 for non-veg, Rs.499 for veg and Rs.299 for kids, this is a reasonably good buffet, IF they maintain the quality of the starters. Overall, I am glad we tried this place that afternoon. Will visit...

I went for a 299/- offer - 3 chicken starters and biriyani unlimited. Chicken starters is limited. Though the portion served was heavy for me to finish. Had to leave 6 pieces of coriander chicken as i couldn't finish em all 😑 The kabab was half cooked, the binding flour was sticky and not edible, may cause stomach upset if consumed for few of you.🥴 Asked for a parcel, they said not allowed. Not sure what they intend to do with the left over - reserve or trash it 🤔 All the starters tasted bland and same no difference in spices, no taste or flavor.😮‍💨 Biriyani was worst with no taste, flavor or aroma, the chicken pieces was properly cooked though. What's the use of pieces if rice was bland and tasted like white rice 😭 Service is worst and too slow. Had to ask for water and it was served after 10mins. Not sure why they keep the jugs away from the table and make us ask every time.🤨 Not to mention they took 10 more mins to serve the dessert- one piece of rasogolla 😔 Had to wait 20mins for bill after washing hands and reminding them twice.😪 Overall experience was bad both food quality and service was not upto the expectations.

I would say do not ever visit this place it’s completely waste of your money . They charge equivalent to other barbecue with no sense but not even 1% of variety they have . They just serve one pathetic welcome drink and spoiled snack before starting actual barbecue just to make your stomach fill and stop eating for actually what you paid for . Well coming to actual starter they have only 3 items chicken which are not Juicy uncooked , fish was pathetic taste with too much of salt , prawn was very very small which u can’t even pull from the stick that’s it for starter . Don’t ever have assumptions that main course will be better we were shocked to see 4-5 items of those which was pathetic in taste n rice and biriyani was spoiled . Finally dessert only laddo very very old no salad one type ice cream for name sake . People don’t even bother to take feedback they were hurry to get the bill . My suggestion to all pls don’t visit you will 200% get disappointed. If someone fromBK see this review pls shut down your branch or reduce the prize to 300 which is not even worth . You don’t have single point to charge this much equivalent to other barbecue....
