Absolutely love Theobroma!
Oh, Theobroma in Electronic City – you've captured my heart (and my sweet tooth) completely! Nestled right in the heart of this bustling IT hub, it's the perfect pit stop for anyone dodging deadlines or just craving a little joy amid the daily grind. Whether you're a techie grabbing a quick bite between meetings or a family looking for weekend treats, this spot delivers every time with its cozy vibe, spotless seating, and that irresistible aroma of fresh bakes wafting through the air. It's clean, efficient, and feels like a warm hug in bakery form – no wonder it's become my go-to for feel-good moments. Let's dive into the stars of the show. The Chicken Cheese Puff? Absolute perfection – warm, golden, and flaky on the outside, with gooey melted cheese and tender chicken chunks that burst with savory goodness inside. It's not just a snack; it's a mood-lifter that vanishes in two bites. And don't get me started on the Chicken Kheema Roll – hearty, spiced just right, with that minced meat filling wrapped in a crisp paratha-like shell. It's filling enough for lunch on the go, yet light enough not to weigh you down. I've ordered it for office potlucks, and it always steals the spotlight. But Theobroma truly shines in the dessert department, living up to its "food of the gods" name. The Dutch Truffle Cake is my ultimate indulgence – layers of rich, velvety chocolate that melt in your mouth, with a subtle cocoa depth that's sophisticated yet sinfully comforting. Pair it with a hot coffee, and you've got bliss in a cup. Then there's the Hazelnut Praline Mousse Cake – oh my! It's a cloud of creamy mousse studded with crunchy hazelnut pralines, balanced by a buttery base that keeps you coming back for more. Light, nutty, and not overly sweet, it's the kind of dessert that makes you forget all your worries. I've tried their seasonal specials too, like the mango cheesecake in summer, and they're always spot-on fresh and innovative. Service-wise, the staff is quick and friendly, whipping up orders in a flash even during peak hours. The pricing is fair for the quality – nothing extravagant, just value that keeps you loyal. One tiny suggestion to elevate it further: A cheerful "thank you" or "enjoy your treats!" when handing over orders or as you leave would add that extra personal touch. I've experienced it at places like McDonald's, and it really warms the heart, making the whole visit memorable. All in all, Theobroma Electronic City is a consistent winner – from the baked goods that taste like home to the desserts that feel like luxury. It's more than a bakery; it's a little slice of happiness in a busy world. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and swing by. You won't regret it – I promise! Keep spreading the sweetness, team. Can't wait for...
Read more28-Sep: I tried Dense cake & Pound cake in swiggy and both were tremendous, especially the dense cake. So next dsy I ordered it directly in Theobroma and both of them tasted average. I dont understand how inconsistent the taste was.
Not much variety in cake flavours.
There was some sour tasting topping cream (like cheesecake) on Red Velvet cake and it was dominating the taste so much, I couldn't feel the taste of red velvet cake at all. Way too overpowering and I was struggling to finish that cake slice.
The three layer chocolate mousse cake was good but nothing outstanding about it.
Brownies are good and the croissants looked very appetizing.
I just won't recommend the cakes tbh, based on my experience with the red velvet cake.
Update on more items ordered via swiggy:
Singapore Pandam Cookies - These are made of some grass and were gross in both smell and flavour. One would deserve an award if they actually manage to finish eating a pack.
You've been warned. I've no idea why make something that's so very bad in taste. I'm not even being subjective.
Choco Tart - Very good Banana Cake - Average Butter Palmiers - Very good Almond Biscotti - Below average. You get way better Almond biscuits in A2B. Choco chip cookies - Average
STAY AWAY from Pandan Stuff. Literally one of the worst tasting I've had in recent times....
