BloomSuites | Electronic City Bangalore — Hotel in Karnataka

This was my first time at a Bloom Hotel and I expected quite a lot seeing that Rahul Dravid is their brand ambassador.

A clean, no-nonsense hotel located on a main road in ECity. The hotel has limited staff but they do serve any requirements very promptly. They were kind enough to upgrade us to a suite, seeing that we travelled with a small child. The King bed was very comfy and clean and the shower area is large enough to stand and bathe a child. The lobby is quite large and very quiet, to catch up on work.

The basement parking was super useful for us too as we were visiting ECity from another part of Bangalore.

There were only a couple of things that should be resolved to improve the experience: The shower area was slippery and an anti-skid mat will greatly help The AC switched off automatically in the middle of our first night of stay. The second night was fine, though some damp smell could be felt when we turned on the AC. Some of the bath fittings are old and rusted, probably retained from the old property.

Apart from Parking issue, which is not more than 5 to 7 cars rest all experience was great. Enjoyed stay in clean rooms, Had hot water which came in instantly (never had to wait, where I have to wait for few minutes even in my 5 star stays). Breakfast is too good. I liked the restaurant, but they had cleaning issues in restaurant. Although tables were cleaned as guests left but the floor was kept as it is with food spills which gave an uncomfortable appearance. Bar / Lounge was good too. I enjoyed my drinks. Although the bar area is small but we’ll maintained and clean. Selection of liquor was good too. Overall I enjoyed staying and won’t hesitate to go back. I recommend this hotel for everyone who is visiting Electronic City in Bangaluru. One last thing. Although it’s a self service buffet breakfast most of the guests ordered at tables (too rude people and no etiquette). The staff was polite to deliver everything with a smile.
