I recently had the opportunity to have brunch here and was pleasantly surprised by the fancy and modern ambience of the restaurant. Upon entering, I was struck by the sleek and chic decor, which immediately set the stage for a memorable dining experience.
One thing that particularly stood out to me was the good variety of food on offer. I decided to try their Turkish eggs and a Korean starter, both of which were quite tasty. The Turkish eggs, in particular, were cooked to perfection and had a nice balance of flavors. The Korean starter was also enjoyable, although it could have been a bit spicier for my taste.
In addition to the main dishes, I also tried a few of the restaurant's side dishes, including their onion rings and waffles. The onion rings were crispy and delicious, and I particularly appreciated the fact that they weren't overly greasy. The waffles, on the other hand, were decent but not particularly noteworthy. The same could be said for the pancakes, which were unfortunately quite disappointing. They were overcooked and lacked flavor, and I would not recommend them.
Despite the somewhat mixed review of the food, I have to say that the overall quantity of the dishes was quite good. There was more than enough to go around, and I left feeling satisfied. However, I do think that the quality of the food could be improved upon a bit. While there were certainly some standout dishes, there were also a few that fell flat.
One thing that I can't fault Wild Sugar on, however, is the service. The waitstaff were all very attentive and friendly, and they did a great job of ensuring that our needs were taken care of throughout the meal. They were also very knowledgeable about the menu and were able to provide recommendations when asked.
In conclusion, Wild Sugar in Belgaum was a good dining experience overall. While the quality of the food could be improved upon a bit, the modern ambience and good variety of dishes more than made up for it. The service was also top-notch, and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others looking for a fancy and romantic place to...
Read moreI love the ambiance at this place. The decor is well thought out and the lights on the ceiling just bring it all together. Food wise, I recommend the waffles for breakfast. It is so light and fluffy, with seasonal fruits sliced and placed delicately on top of each piece of waffle and a generous helping of whipped cream and honey. There are many other dishes to try out and that I would recommend, like the lamb and burger offerings. It can seem like it is very expensive for the average person to eat here, however I would argue that if you order well and are willing to settle for a slightly reduced portion than what you normally eat, this would be the place for you. Especially if you factor in the incredible ambiance you are getting in a place like Belgaum. It also has a lovely offering of coffee, pastries like cheesecakes, and a few varieties of bread on a beautifully placed display near...
Read moreI visit Wild Sugar almost every alternate day for tiramisu. Today, we had spaghetti pesto and ordered tiramisu and carrot cake. However, the carrot cake never arrived at our table. After finishing our spaghetti, I
informed the staff to cancel the carrot cake as we were already full.
The lady at the billing counter said the bill was already printed, even though we hadn’t asked for it. When I went to the counter to request the cancellation, she — the lady who knows us since we visit frequently — spoke very rudely, saying we should have informed earlier if we didn’t want the cake.
The service was disappointing today. There was no respect for the customer. I was even ready to take the cake as a parcel, but her rude response really spoiled...
