This park has a history behind... The well was dig when there was congress adhiveshan long back in history and Mahatma Gandhi visited this place .. Inistially it was a big well serving water need for all people within locality and now also with the existing renovation to the well it's a good water source daily water needs.. This park is accompanied with Museum with few pictures of Adhiveshan was there and a small library is also there besides the main museum building .. very well design structure.. But the overall maintenance of garden part is not that much... Some wild animal statues are installed but very curious people make it worst to appear.. 'Pampa Sarovara' the well constructed for water supply for 37th Indian National Congress Conference in 1924 at Belagavi (Belgaum), Karnataka. It was a historical importance because Mahatma Gandhi was the President for the Conference. Only once he was the President in his life time. The sorrounding areas are kept clean and doveloped a beautiful garden. 'Veera Soudha' a commomerative building constructed to keep the monuments to highlight the events of Conference.
