I recently visited Bikanerwala restaurant in Karol Bagh, and overall, my experience was quite satisfactory. The restaurant offers a diverse menu of Indian street food and snacks, and I had the opportunity to try their Grilled Sandwich, Cold Coffee, and Pav Bhaji. Here's my detailed review of each dish:
Grilled Sandwich - 3.5/5: The Grilled Sandwich I ordered was decent but didn't exceed my expectations. It was adequately toasted and had a generous filling of vegetables and cheese. The taste was good, although it lacked a bit of flavor and seasoning. The portion size was satisfactory, and the presentation was appealing. However, I felt that it could have been more flavorful to enhance the overall experience.
Cold Coffee - 3.5/5: The Cold Coffee I ordered was refreshing and had a balanced sweetness. It was served chilled and had a decent coffee flavor. While it was enjoyable, there was nothing particularly outstanding about it. The quantity provided was adequate for the price, and the presentation was simple and appealing.
Pav Bhaji - 4/5: The Pav Bhaji at Bikanerwala was definitely the highlight of my meal. It was well-cooked, flavorful, and had the right balance of spices. The bhaji had a rich texture and was served with soft and buttery pav buns. The portion size was generous, and the presentation was appetizing. It was indeed a satisfying dish, and I would recommend trying it if you visit this restaurant.
Overall, my experience at Bikanerwala in Karol Bagh was pleasant. The food was reasonably priced, and the service was prompt and courteous. While the Grilled Sandwich and Cold Coffee were average, the Pav Bhaji stood out with its delicious taste and generous serving. If you're looking for a decent place to enjoy Indian street food, Bikanerwala is worth considering.

Read morePATHETIC MANAGER BEHAVIOUR DHARMENDRA PATHAK I ordered Dal Makhani Rice for my son, who is currently experiencing dental issues due to falling teeth, making it difficult for him to chew hard food. Unfortunately, the green peas in the rice were not properly boiled, making it impossible for my son to eat comfortably. I brought this issue to the manager’s attention, expecting a reasonable resolution. However, instead of understanding the concern or offering a solution, Dharmendra Pathak responded with arrogance and disrespect.
His response was: “If we boil the peas 100%, won’t they get mixed with the rice?”—which was both dismissive and illogical. Despite our polite request to replace the dish with something my son could eat, he continued to be extremely rude and unhelpful. His attitude toward a simple customer concern was pathetic and unacceptable. To make matters worse, he arrogantly stated that we could “go online and complain”—a shocking display of disregard for customer satisfaction and brand reputation.
I have always associated Bikanervala with high standards of hospitality and service, but this experience was horrible and disappointing. Such behaviour from Manager reflects poorly...
