Arunachala-Incredible Indian Cuisine — Restaurant in Karur

Ordered many, such as chicken kozhi varuval,BBQ half plate,chicken lollipop,chicken biriyani,and icecreams(vanilla)and 1 ltr water bottle(quantity 2). In chicken kozhi varuval seems like the chicken cooked method differs by taste,seems like grilled chicken cut into pieces and made that recipe,also that Gravy is average,not recommended, In chicken biriyani,there is more oil and it is not average. In bbq chicken,there is more masala marinating which is quite raw seems uncooked masalas coated over entire chicken portions,and that bbq plates of half were supposed to be 4 pieces but instead we got it as very small 6 pieces,seems like that one ready to be prepared for other recipes,in my opinion.Chicken lollipop seems good but it is very small in size and inside portion seems uncooked . Ice cream (quantity 2 of vanilla flavor) seems good but it is of very less quantity. And in mineral water bottles,the water tastes average. Overall bill amount is 1559 which...

What was meant to be a quick lunch stop turned out to be surprise discovery. Only a brief detour off Salem - Madurai highway, Arunachala is a great option for lunch/dinner stops if you're travelling between Bangalore and Madurai. We ordered quite a few items and all the dishes were exceptional. The mutton biryani was made with small grained rice (the kind I like) and was surprisingly delicious. The portion was ample for one person with a good appetite. The starters we had (suka, wings, chicken 65, masala papad) were all awesome too. However, the malai kofta and naan were my favourite. So creamy and so tasty. The payasam served with the meals caught my attention too. We had brownie with ice cream and red velvet with ice cream for dessert which was another surprise. I had went here after a very long time may be five years. I used to go here regularly whenever we went for Karur but i don't remember how it was at that time. Recently i visited this place and the food and ambience was good. We had ordered for a barbecue and fried rice. I wished to have biriyani but unfortunately it was over by the time i came here. I also had a parotta which was soft and the gravy tasted as we cook in home. I would definitely go for a lunch next time so i can have biriyani my favourite. I also wanted many other dishes there.
