Adithi Homestay Spice Garden Restaurant — Restaurant in Kerala

We stayed in the Adithi homestay for three days. The stay was nice. The owner is nice but doesn't have much staff. Out of three days, our room was only cleaned once because the staff wasn't present. The housekeeping woman didn't really want to do anything and only upon asking did some cleaning. Didn't provide us any toiletries or anything even though we asked. Our sheets weren't changed.

Though the stay doesn't include food or even tea, one can order food at the host restaurant spice garden which is downstairs. The fish curry and dal both tasted okay but the quantities provided were less. Less rice for the price, especially as compared to every other place in kerala.

One can fill drinking water from downstairs. The higher floor rooms are quiet but monkeys can come anytime. Don't leave the balcony door open unattended. Would request the host to keep some luggage storing space in the room.

Very bad experiance. Service was delayed, were not even served water even after asking multiple time. The food serving took more than 1 hour in the name of freshly prepared home food with no taste and when on reorder (because of children and quantity) we asked what will be served quickly and they advise our previous order can be served fast and in that name they just mixed water in left over of earlier preparation and served to us and on our asking they simply said you wanted fast so we added water and served you and shameless staff charged the full for the dish. Will never recommend this to any one PS: Does not have have negative rating otherwise wold...

My recommendations and star rating is purely due to first hand experience at the restaurant during our stay in kumily and hence recommend highly to all due to the below stated reaaons .. DONT MISS IT. Amazing healthy food with no added preservatives or artificial colors or reused oils Cooked (Customized) as per order which was tasty Wonderful well mannered staff and ambience Got surprised to find lot of foreigners (Visitors) dining in especially taking part in the cooking demo classes.
