An Unpleasant Experience: Long Waits, Overcrowding, and Poor Communication
My recent visit was marred by a series of disappointments, starting with the extensive waiting time to receive our food. The restaurant's inadequate staffing and lack of effective communication only added to the frustration of the entire dining experience.
From the moment we stepped inside, it was evident that the restaurant was grappling with an overwhelming number of customers. The lack of available seating and the sight of long queues were disheartening. The absence of enough staff to manage the situation contributed to the chaos and subsequent delays.
After finally securing a table, we had to wait further for a considerable time before a server approached us to take our orders. The delay in order taking, despite the obvious rush, hinted at a lack of organization and proper management within the establishment.
The most concerning aspect of our visit was the astonishingly long waiting period for our food to arrive. Waiting for more than 70 minutes for a simple meal is entirely unacceptable and left us feeling neglected as customers. The lack of transparency regarding the delay added to our growing frustration.
Throughout the duration of our wait, there was a shocking absence of communication from the staff or management. Not once did we receive any updates regarding the status of our order or an apology for the delay. This lack of communication left us feeling ignored and disrespected as customers.
The prolonged waiting time significantly impacted our overall dining experience. By the time our food was served, we were already so disheartened that it became difficult to fully enjoy the meal. The stress and impatience overshadowed any appreciation we may have had for the quality of the food.
Despite the disappointing service, the food itself was reasonably good. However, it did not make up for the frustrating experience we had endured due to the excessive waiting time and lack of attentiveness from the staff.
My visit left me deeply dissatisfied and questioning the establishment's commitment to customer satisfaction. The combination of excessive waiting time, overcrowding, insufficient staff, delayed order taking, and the complete lack of communication created an unpleasant dining experience.
As a customer, I expect timely service, open communication, and a comfortable ambiance when dining out. I sincerely hope that the management takes immediate action to address these issues and make necessary improvements to avoid similar experiences for other patrons...

Read moreI recently visited the Bar-B-Que restaurant in Pala Town and had an overall pleasant experience. The restaurant offers both take-away and dine-in services, with the dine-in area being air-conditioned and clean. The ambience is wonderful and welcoming, which makes it a good spot for a casual outing or quick bite.
The menu features a mix of Arabian, Chinese, and Indian dishes, along with juices, desserts, and ice creams. I ordered the Barbeque Chicken with Rumali Roti and the Creamy Afghani Barbeque - both dishes were delicious, well-cooked, and flavorful. The food quality met expectations and I left satisfied.
One of the highlights was the quick service - there was no waiting time, which was a relief. There's also plenty of free parking available, which adds to the convenience.
Payment is hassle-free with options including cash, UPI, and card. Staff behaviour was satisfactory, though a bit more attentiveness and training would enhance the experience further.
However, a key area that needs improvement is the seating arrangement. For smaller groups, the setup works fine, but it’s not ideal for larger groups. If you're going with a group of 10 or more, it’s difficult to sit together comfortably. I strongly recommend the management consider better dine-in options for...
