A Delightful Beachfront Dining Experience at Bay 4
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bay 4 Beach Front Restaurant located in Payyambalam, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. The restaurant's stunning beachfront location sets the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal.
To start, I ordered the "Thai Grill Chicken" as a starter, and it was a burst of flavors. The chicken was perfectly grilled, tender, and marinated with aromatic Thai spices that left my taste buds craving for more. It's definitely a must-try for those who appreciate bold and delicious flavors.
Next up was the "Beef Coconut Fry," a dish that highlighted the rich and authentic flavors of Kerala cuisine. The tender beef pieces were cooked to perfection and infused with the goodness of coconut. It was a delightful combination that I would highly recommend.
For the main course, I opted for the classic favorites, "Butter Naan" and "Butter Roti." Both were soft, freshly baked, and served piping hot. The buttery goodness of these bread options complemented the main dishes perfectly.
Lastly, I couldn't resist trying the "Goli Soda," which turned out to be a refreshing and nostalgic addition to the meal. Sipping on this fizzy delight while enjoying the sea breeze added to the overall charm of the dining experience.
The service at Bay 4 was impeccable, and the staff was attentive and courteous throughout the meal. The restaurant's ambiance, with its proximity to the beach, created a serene and relaxed atmosphere that enhanced the overall dining experience.
In conclusion, Bay 4 Beach Front Restaurant at Payyambalam is a hidden gem for food enthusiasts seeking a combination of delicious flavors, beachfront dining, and excellent service. I would highly recommend trying the "Thai Grill Chicken," "Beef Coconut Fry," and ending your meal with a refreshing "Goli Soda." It's a place where you can savor great food while enjoying the beauty of the coastline. I can't wait to return for another delightful...
Read moreHorrible experience!! The only reason we ended up having dinner here was because it was already too late into the night and we did not want to go through the ordeal of ordering and waiting for food again for that night at 10 PM. We came in here at 7:30 PM, ordered our food by 8PM. The person who took our order was either not listening properly or was in his own world as he kept repeating food that we were not ordering. It was an hour with no starters and soup served, so we ordered our mains hoping atleast they would come on time once starters were served. Another 30 mins in and we get our soups served only to see they were completely different from what we ordered. They took back the wrong order and came back with right order only to serve them as COLD!! Waiting for two hours for cold food? Who serves soup cold?? New to business or no ethics at all? As an icing on the cake, the person who took our order instead of apologising for their extremely poor service has the audacity to comment, infact taunt us, that “it is because we ordered late!!!” This guy needs to do a course on restaurant etiquettes. Moving on, we now had to even wait for our main course to get served. And alas our fear turned real when EVERY DISH WAS SERVED COLD!! They did not even serve us all the food that we ordered!! It was already too late and we had senior citizens and kids who too had to suffer this plight. We came in here with our family to make some good memories and have a nice beach side dinner instead it turned out to be a nightmare. Reading through previously posted review seems like it is pattern and they have no intention to better themselves. Please go at your own risk or be kind to yourself by not going...
Read moreBay4 Beachfront resort is exactly what it's names says. It is right in front of the main beach in Kannur City. The swaying palms, smells of the season and the sultry heat kind of make what Bay4 restaurant tick.
The moment when my wife and i entered the place we were lucky enough to get the best seat in the restaurant facing the Arabian Sea. We were immediately attended to my the staff and we ordered a Barbecue Chicken and Malabar Chai.
The food took more than 25 minutes to reach us and we were famished by then. The food we ordered were pretty ok. I wished they had taken the grilled meat 5 minutes earlier and it would have been perfect. The Malabar Dhum Chai was pretty good.
The restaurant is designed well. It was airy to welcome the sea breeze. The wall murals were very interesting and reflected the local life and history. The lighting and ambience was perfect for an interesting evening soiree.
I wish they also had an air-conditioned area because the summer heat from March to May is very unforgiving. The management must look into this very seriously.
What ever food was reasonable, the cost is a little on the higher side but the area is one of the nicer areas so the cost is reasonable .
Sure a visit to this place would be worth it for purely the lovely ambience it provides for...
