BBQ @ Paramount — Restaurant in Kerala

I recently ordered chicken BBQ from Paramount Kannur through Zomato Delivery app on 20/06/2023, unfortunately, the chicken was simply unacceptable.

Upon receiving the package, the chicken looked a bit off and had an unpleasant odor. I assumed it was just the seasoning, but upon closer inspection, I realized that the chicken was rotten. It was hard to miss the putrid smell, which hit me as soon as I opened the package.

I immediately contacted Zomato customer service, and they were incredibly helpful and apologetic. The representative offered me a refund, which I gladly accepted. I appreciate their swift action on the matter.

I was really disappointed with Paramount Kannur's quality control in preparing this order. Serving rotten chicken is a serious food safety hazard that could harm someone's health. I suggest they pay more attention to their food preparation process and ensure that only fresh ingredients are used.

My dining experience:

People at the service are friendly and helpful Faced issues with the servings. We ordered starter first and they served the starter after the main course. Main course got cold because the table had everything all at once. They took the time to cook fresh, but the dishes were not hot when it reached us. Might have been waiting on the line after the chef prepared it. Reasonable pricing with good ambience

The restaurant is situated in the Payyambalam Beach Road, a very popular hangout area.

The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and mouthwatering starters, kebabs and main courses that will appeal to youngsters and adults alike. Everything we had was fresh and delicious.

In contrast, however, the service was not of the highest quality. It seemed to me that the waiters were not very engaged. The upstairs seating area was kind of neglected. The customers had to wait for 10 mins for the menu. We had to keep on asking for the drinking water and basic cutlery items. It would be better if they had a wash area in the first floor / terrace seating.
