Burger Tree — Restaurant in Kerala

Had a very dishonest experience from the staff. Ordered a slider from their menu. I had specifically told that among the things that come as part of the burger- I don't need the veg patty and that I need the grilled paneer only. They agreed and initially offered to add some other stuff to make up for it but since they didn't have any other veg ingredient to add they said they will minus the patty cost and give me the burger. And when the bill came, they had charged me the full ₹190/- which is the actual cost of the slider burger. They denied telling me that and said they could not reduce the cost because of some bogus billing issue. Later they apologised but didn't bother to provide me with a reduced bill.

Honestly guys, when I enquired they were like - if someone asks them to remove tomato or lettuce in a burger then they will not reduce the cost

But in my case I had asked them to not include a whole veg patty and how can that be equated to the cost of a tomato or lettuce. Utterly shocking and enraged to hear that answer.

And I had initially placed the order via phone as I was in a hurry to finish the food and go somewhere else. Therefore i settled the bill by paying the whole amount and have decided to come forward to let you all know about ordering at burger tree. No freedom to choose even when they say we can.

Also prices are definitely exorbitant for what they serve. Based on my experience having multiple items...

In store brought burger in 2020 was good which is why I decided to order 17 burgers for a celebration on 18th Jan 22 from here. But this time the Brooklyn chicken burgers were unappetizing. The patties were not crisp and undercooked, sauces were excessive and lettuce was wilting and needed to be discarded than consumed. The store manager was rigid and could not offer any discount or complementary service but also added a packaging charge of 350 extra with the order coz of which I canceled the extended order of fries and sandwiches which I'm thankful for, looking at the not tasty burgers we had. In fact a mcchicken/ KFC burger would have been a better option for the 3400 rs I paid. A big disappointment. People who have not been exposed to burgers outside might find the burger tree fare nice but if you have had your share of good burgers then this place is definitely not worth the price charged. A suggestion - the small shawarma place opposite burger tree from where I ordered instead of fries n sandwiches from burger tree is definitely 👌. Tastier, budget friendly and definitely client friendly too as the friendly gentleman who owns it makes us feel welcome and supervises the order personally.

Anyone looking to order in bulk from burgertree think twice as my experience definitely would not...

Yes palakkad has changed a lot , and the food culture too . Now the city stuffed with many food joints in different cuisine and different styles and sizes . This beautifully designed burger shop is one among that . Its a very small shop when we see it from out side but once we enter inside we will surprised for a moment , its bigger enough. Interior good and classy not over filled with decor accessories . They have kept the store clean and hygienic , menu selection is good , food quality have to be improved a bit more ,sad thing there is no fries accompanied with burger , we have to order it extra , and yes the chef must work hard on the product bcz this place will be a hit if they give perfect stuffs . one of the staff told they are in a process of upgrading all menu items according to customer feedback. Let's hope they serve some perfect juicy cheesy classy burgers soon . Apart from burgers they have a good spread of sandwiches , fresh juices , mocktails, smoothies , coffees & different flavours in tea . My overall experience is good at Burger Tree , Near Head Post Office...
