Updated Review. I revisited this place for the second time. The first time, I had a bad experience with the person who sits at the billing counter, and I mentioned that in my first review. The owner replied that it wouldn't happen again. Guess what? I had the same experience today as well. This time, I didn't order anything. I just left and went to North Bites, where I had a good time. These people should learn customer service from other places. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I'm changing my rating from 3 to 1. I wish there was an option to give zero.
Previous Review I reached the restaurant at 9:30 PM and ordered a sev Puri, samosa pav, and a papdi chat. The samosa pav cost ₹100, and the other two dishes were around the same price. The restaurant have a few benches and tables for seating, and it operated on a self-service basis. Read moreSo far all the Chaats I have had that were not from the street side peddlers always missed that unique umpf in their taste. And this place is no different.
But yet it deserved a 4 star rating for the effort, cleanliness, good staff and near real taste on offer. Though I thought the price a bit high for chaat, seeing it served in bio degradable plates and spoons quickly had it justified.
And the flavours of their Bhel Puri, Pani Puri and Masala Puri were not too bad either. Portions were good as well. Amongst the offerings of chaat in trivandrum, this place really shines on their offerings... their menu boasts of a lot more dishes, and hopefully my frequent visits will have me indulge more in their flavourful offerings...
A great start that can definitely help them establish by maintaining the quality on offer with suttle enhancement to ensure they come up at the top...
looking forward to their growth with...
