De Cafe Canopy — Restaurant in Kerala

I Understood that I'm a master of patience . Can you even imagine waiting for an hour just for a quarter alfahm . Seems like they had to chase the chicken afterall . The restaurant was pin drop silent because I could only see 2 out of 10 tables filled and let me convey my special thanks to the waiters who were sleeping . I envy them cos I couldn't sleep this peacefully in the recent past. I really loved the baby chicken Alfahm quarter which came with a special price tag of 180 rupees . I asked for a chicken and I got a chick . Maybe they import chickens from Somalia . Let me come to the point Waiting time is more than 40-45 mins Staffs were having a round table talk about some movie they watched recently Quantity of food is very less ..ordered a quarter alfahm and I was served a very small piece Quality is not upto the mark Used to a be a customer and was happy with quality n quantity. Things have changed recently . Complained to the one dealing with payments and he was having an attitude like ' eat if you are hungry else leave' ........ We purchased Alfam from here yesterday night. Small crowd was there. Current dine in is not allowed due to covid restrictions. As this one is one service road, we will get parking area. Order took by the person in the counter. But we will not get any token for order. So we have to be careful while calling for delivery.

We got our food within a reasonable time. Packing was good and the smell was so attractive.

Alfam was really nice and tasty. Masala used in chicken was good. we got four kuboos, mayonnaise, green chutney and vegetable salad also. Kuboos was so soft and tasty. Green chutney is little bit spicy but combination was good. Green salad also little bit spicy and we can taste some sauce in that.

A small restaurant, ground floor being the cooking area, seating arrangements for costumers are done at the first floor. The way towards the first floor including staircase is dark without any lights. So a caution for the elderly and small children coming to the restaurant!

Much to the hype, ordered a ‘Chicken Biriyani and Alfaham Chicken’ from restaurant an afternoon. Unfortunately, the Biriyani was lacking flavour and tasted like Ghee rice. Alfaham Chicken was also disappointing as it was hard, dry and over burnt.
