A Message for the Entrepreneur

I am a resident of Aluva and visited your restaurant with my family on 17/11/2023. It was only after sitting inside that I realized I had made the wrong decision to choose your restaurant. Restaurants must treat people with minimum respect when they are dining with their family, especially when they are eating with an infant.

I agree that you can check the number of people and allot the seats accordingly. But that allotment should be in a proper area with good Ambient. Good Ambient means not just the colouring and lighting. The area should have good air circulation and a comfortable temperature. While it was allocating itself, I informed your staff that the location was really hot and my one-year-old baby was napping. When they put the fan it was disturbing to other table as the fan is set in a off-base place.So they were not able to keep it on.

Meanwhile, a family room got vacant and we requested this because that area is equipped with its own fan and since this is a private space it also cannot disturb my child's sleep. Again your staff asked how many persons, I told him 04 Nos. He looked inside this room and saw that there were 6 chairs inside, so he said that this room was reserved.

If it was reserved, why he has to ask me how many persons???

And why should I eat in a hot place when I am paying for the food and table.??

Anyway, we left the restaurant at the same time and clearly told the staff that we would never again visit the great PATHIRAKOZHI RESTAURANT. You know why???? Kochi has many good options.

Pathira Kozhi restaurant in Aluva truly impressed me with its inviting ambiance and delightful culinary offerings. I had the pleasure of trying their new signature dish, Paal Kappa, along with their beef ribs, and I must say, it was a culinary experience worth savoring.

The Paal Kappa, a dish made with mashed tapioca and a creamy coconut milk-based sauce, was simply outstanding. The tapioca was cooked to perfection, soft and flavorful, while the coconut milk added a rich and comforting element to the dish. The combination of textures and flavors was delightful, and it quickly became one of my favorite dishes at the restaurant.

As for the beef ribs, they were a revelation. The ribs were cooked to perfection, resulting in tender, succulent meat that practically melted in my mouth. The seasoning was spot-on, providing a delightful balance of flavors. What impressed me even more was the crispiness of the exterior, adding a delightful textural contrast to the tender meat. It was a true indulgence for any meat lover.

The service at Pathira Kozhi was excellent. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, providing recommendations and answering all my queries about the dishes. The restaurant's atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience.
