Eat Treat Restaurant — Restaurant in Kerala

A thorough disappointment to say the least. We had seen the board saying "Ilayil Oonu" a few time while travelling up the NH544 towards Aluva town and today we decided to give it a go: bad decision!!! One order was Veg "Meals" and the other Veg Biriyani. Firstly, I'm shocked at the cost: Meals costs ₹169. We've never had to pay that sort of money for a simple vegetarian meal anywhere else. Absolute rip off no doubt. The biriyani costs another ₹170: again, way too expensive! Then of course, the 5% GST on top.

The waiter was very stingy with the rice, which in itself was unsatisfactory in that it was cold and undercooked. The Biriyani was piping hot, of a good serving size and tasty: no complaints. There were a number of flies in the hall and our main job was swatting them! Good parking space in front of the hotel and good location on the busy NH544.

Anyway, overall, our visit was very disappointing and we're sure NEVER to go...

Claims 3 star hotel but poor facilities...

I saw this place when I was traveling by the highway and when I saw this place it seems like a average restaurant. Then I ordered 2 biriyani and biriyani was nice. Asked for bill and there was only a few staffs so after 2 to 3 minutes they gave me bill. I was shocked. For 2 chicken biriyani its 519. Oops. Then I asked them what the price? They said 220 for one biriyani each and 18% GST and said its a 3 star hotel 😱. Only a few staffs and only some seats and its a 3 star even without restroom inside restaurant....

It was rainy day and I was searching for a spot to have lunch. A convenient parking spot attracted me to this restaurant. Needless to say, the chicken biriyani I somehow managed to eat was pathetic.. ( the chicken was dripping with oil).. It was pricey too.. My advise - don't get attracted by the location and parking lot, you will pay...
