Aryas Hotel serves some genuinely good food, and our meal was overall quite enjoyable. The masala dosa we ordered was well-prepared, and the flavors were on point. However, there was one aspect of our dining experience that left a bad taste in our mouths—literally and figuratively.
When our masala dosa was served, it came with a couple of wadas on the side. Naturally, we assumed these were complimentary, as it's not uncommon for some South Indian restaurants to offer small extras with your meal. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. To our surprise, when the bill arrived, we noticed that we had been charged ₹13 per wada. This charge was applied without any prior notice or consent, which felt quite misleading.
In any dining experience, transparency is key. Customers should be informed about any additional charges beforehand, especially when something is served without a request. While we appreciate the quality of the food, this practice of adding unexpected charges dampened our overall experience.
It's disappointing because, aside from this issue, Aryas Hotel does have potential. A little more clarity and communication with customers would go a long way in improving the overall experience. I hope the management reconsiders this practice for the sake of customer...
Read moreIt is the best vegetarian hotel which is situated in this area. In fact I think this is the only one vegetarian hotel which situated all the way from thripunithura to chottanikkara. It is situated approximately 200 mtrs away from hill palace towards ernakulam direction. They have got varieties of dosas including the big sized paper roast which is very tasty. Mrng time there will be 2 chuntneys and sambar as side for dosa and idli which are very tasty and compliments the taste of dosa to the highest point. I liked coconut chutney and tomato chutney which is a bit spicier that normal which makes the chutney a bit special that usual flat tasted chutneys. Apart from poori masala was also delicious,Masala dosa, ghee roast, paper roast etc is also a good choice. Apart from this there they have meals, variety rices and biriyani from lunch and also have fresh juice options available here. The restaurant is situated in the main road side and can park upto 5 or 6 car and 10 bikes at a time. They have a seating capacity of about 50 to 60 at a time and every thing served is fresh and tasty. Service is good as well. All together this is highly recommendable veg food destination...
Read moreThey have Air conditioned as well as non air conditioned tables in their hotel. We took the air conditioned room but it was not good. They had a 5- star godreg AC at 18° but a window pane was broken so that we wouldn't get the cooling. Still it wasn't too bad as the fans did a good job. They have two varieties of rice for plain rice. We could order for our convenience. We ordered two plain rice, two fried rice and a veg biriyani (pure veg hotel). The food was great and we also ordered a spicy Gobi curry which was also tasty and enough. This hotel is near the palace and at a walkable distance. There is a fish tank in there with good colours. Don't know about the parking area, but there were cars parked at the side. I have given three stars just because for the air conditioning. Otherwise it was a good experience. Also, the price was...
