Best in the town for a vegetarian food experience...best quality and quantity...very different taste.. not much varieties...but you can find all the local Kerala dishes . Really recommending for its tastes.. hygienic place and very busy resturant . parking is available and it's just near to the high way..ton be exact infront the Thiruvanchikulam Temple... Worth a visit....I promise that you can't find this kind of veg resturant within a 30 km radius...main highlight is Dosa and Kadala( bengali beans) roast ..the chutney have unique taste as well....also you can find a rare Laddu there!.....
Have to say the 'attitude of serving people' was not so good...I thought to give 4 star...but some how...that's people's mind... nothing about food and it's quality...that area the restaurant have to be bit polite...they are taking it for granted, when crowd was there...
But yet....will go again and again with family...
You will be lucky if you get a table in evenings in that...
Read moreThis used to be a good vegetarian restaurant near the Thiruvanchikulam Temple in Kodungallore. I had been a regular here for the last few years. Masala Dosas used to be good. Of late, there has been a lot of deterioration in the quality of the food and the service levels. The Masala Dosas have become really bland in taste and the portion of the Masala in the Dosa has been reduced. Honestly, I don’t understand why the restaurant is compromising in the quality. Hygiene levels have gone down very badly. There are few waiters who have good attitude but I feel it’s an indifferent attitude by the management. Earlier, there used to be an elderly gentleman who was genuinely concerned on the quality but nowadays the management seems to be not bothered upon hearing any customer complaints. The toilets behind the restaurant is in a pathetic state. On top of all this, they have hiked up the rates of the Menu from 1st May.
Hope the management takes the...
Read moreThis was our first visit to the place after having darshan at Kodungallur temple. This restaurant is located 2km from Kodungallur temple and straight opposite to thiruvanchikulam mahadeva temple. We went around 20:30 hrs and the tables were full. All tables have stools and no chairs. The ambience will look bit old l. We got a table inside a small room where our orders are below Plain roast: very big and good taste. Costed just rs.40 Ghee Roast: excellent taste and big size (Rs.50) Fried Rice : very well made and flavours were mild and soothing (Rs.90) Paneer Masala Dosa: the dosa was good and the masala inside was very good with tiny pieces of Paneer and onion (Rs .100) mushroom pepper fry: delicious and went very well with fried rice (Rs.110)
Overall I recommend this restaurant for excellent taste, pure vegetarian options and very...
