I recently visited The Connect Inn Hotel Restaurant for a quick breakfast, hoping to kick-start my day with a satisfying meal. However, my experience left much to be desired. While the restaurant had its merits, I found several aspects that fell short of my expectations.

Upon entering the restaurant, I couldn't help but notice a sense of disarray. The overall cleanliness of the place was lacking, with tables left uncleared and dirty dishes scattered around. It gave the impression of a lack of attention to detail and a disregard for maintaining a pleasant dining environment.

Moving on to the service, I found it to be average at best. The staff members seemed disinterested and inattentive, which resulted in slower service. It took longer than expected for someone to take my order, and I had to remind them to bring my food promptly. The lack of efficiency and attentiveness was disappointing, especially considering it was a relatively quiet morning with few customers.

Regarding the breakfast itself, it was rather average. The menu options were limited, and the quality of the food did not match the price. The dishes lacked flavor and appeared hastily prepared. It felt like a missed opportunity to showcase the culinary expertise that one would expect from a hotel restaurant. The presentation was also underwhelming, further contributing to my overall disappointment.

In terms of ambiance, the restaurant did not leave a lasting impression. The decor was uninspiring and lacked any unique or inviting elements. Combined with the previously mentioned cleanliness issues, the atmosphere felt somewhat lackluster and contributed to a subpar...

Best place for a quick bite when in Vytilla area. Hit and miss service quality - My wife and I stopped here for a quick dinner few weeks ago when waiting for a bus at the hub. Service was slow and the outlet manager was miserable at taking our orders. We were very specific about what we wanted and we were told it will be quick - but got something totally different and too late. Got a lunch parcel today and it was really quick and fresh and the portions were huge. The food quality and the service was excellent. The packaging was also very nice. I got a Kerala meal , their special fried chicken and a red-snapper fry. Everything was of excellent quality and priced very democratically. The kerala meal came with a banana leaf ))) nice touch. The chicken was juicy with a crisp crust. The fish was also done to perfection and not slathered in a spice paste like many other places. The curries in the meal was also very fresh and well prepared.

The story was very different when we dropped in for breakfast few days back. The person who took our order neither spoke malayalam or hindi or english .... we asked for coffee without sugar and instead got a sugary milky concoction. The ghee dosa took forever to come and when it came - it was too thick and sloppy. The kitchen is open and the place seemed very clean.

Anyways - in summary the food is good - dont expect good...

Kettuvallam Restaurant is one of the clean and neat restaurant near vytila mobility bus hub. There was a canteen inside vytila mobility bus stand. But before a few months this restaurant is closed and there is no other nearby Restaurants in this area. Before a few days I visited this Restaurant for morning breakfast. I ate idiyappam and Kadala Curry and they charged Rs 8 for Idiyappam and Rs 50 for Kadala Curry. But they provide very neat and decent atmosphere for customers. Also they provide very neat washroom includes neat and hygienic toilet facilities. Also the behavior of the staff is very decent. Also they provide lunch for very cheap rate and that is also useful for long distance travellers, families etc. There is enough space dining area and they can afford large number of customers at a single time. Mainly I recommend this hotel for the peoples who were coming outside kochi and haven't enough time for breakfast/lunch and looking for neat and decent food within a short distance from vytila mobility hub can definitely visit...
