TL;DR - Amazing food, incredible quantity, affordable price! 👍

Conveniently located near Vytilla Jn, by the highway, DISTRICT 7 is a really great place for scrumptious yum-yums for your tum-tums. Yes, this review is going to be long and rather silly. Stop reading if you have better things to do. . . . . You're still here. Big mistake! You were warned.

And the food here tastes so good. Sooooo very goooood. Oh boy! The Mac 'n Cheese alone is to kill for. They also serve a mean Beef Lasagna. And almost everything on the menu is light on your wallet. No, they may not be "cheap" but a similar joint like this would have you coughing up a lot more. But get this; they don't cheap out on the quantity or taste. One full serving often feels stoner-meal sized. (Please don't do drugs. M'kay? 😇) And that's a great thing cuz you're getting good food and a lot of it. The ambience is pretty chill too. Their playlists are tastefully made and I have nothing to complain about it even though I generally don't listen to the kind of songs they played but it was pretty cool and it seemed like kids these days would find it appropriate. Heh. And the best part is that they're open from noon to 3 AM. Yeah, you heard that right. 3 AM!!! Next time you're getting drunk with the gang and suddenly it's midnight and your favourite thattukada is closed and you get a severe case of the munchies, you know who to call. Uber. You should call Uber. You really shouldn't drive when you're drunk. You big DumDum! SMH And you should definitely come to DISTRICT 7 and have some of the great food they serve here. It's really neat! Did I mention they have board games and books here to pass the time? I didn't? Oh... OK... ... I'm sorry. My bad. Now can we finish this instead of pointlessly accusing me for not doing something this trivial? Thank you. They have books and board games here, like Ludo and Chutes & Ladd-... Pambum Koniyum 😁 and Othello and a couple of others I was too hungry to notice. Come on, it was 2 AM and I was hungry. Don't judge me!

Verdict: 11/10 would get drunk and come here...

A spur of the moment saturday late lunch decision, that hit all the right spots!. 😍😍

We were in search for a food joint near vyttila for a late lunch as we were famished and we had to skip lunch.. Ended up in front of district 7 and decided to give it a try.. And I must say, what a decision that was!. ☺️☺️

I'm not gona waste any time and talk about the ambiance n service.. As is common with all the recent food joints in kochi, both were excellent..

Coming to the food:

The first thing we ordered was the steak.. Beef with pepper sauce.. And this time we went for well done and we asked our server not to burn it.. 😀 and as ordered the steak was well done and not burnt, with a generous portion of mashed potatoes and veggies on the side.. The steak was cooked really well.. Nice char on the outside and Juicy on the inside with lotsa pepper sauce.. In one word, yum!.

The next one was Tender chicken - chicken breast stuffed with finely diced zucchini glazed with a piquant roasted bell pepper sauce.. And a cup of veg rice as side.. The chicken was cooked well with the right amount of stuffing.. But the rice lacked a bit of seasoning.. Although it was compensated with the sauce.. Another green tick in our checklist..

Commando fries - don't be fooled by the name.. In this case going "commando" had a totally different meaning.. 😁😁 the fries were drenched in cheddar and monterrey jack cheese topped with minced roast beef and jalapeños.. More like overdressed fries than commando fries.. But this was the dark horse among them all.. Just the perfect blend of cheese, fries, beef and sauce... Yummilicious!. A must try!..

Finally mint lime.. We washed it all down with a simple classic thirst quencher.. Served its purpose well!. ☺️☺️

A must try place for foodies.. The empty plates speak for themselves.. Definitely heading back again.. 😍😊😍😊
