Read moreGreat food served with a smile, at a neat place. That is what I would say about this place. Not sure how many times I have been there, but everytime, the feeling is the same! One of the best vegetarian hotels we choose in Ernakulam area. For lunch, we usually order a North Indian Thali and a South Indian Thali meals. Their North Indian Thali always have Paneer Butter Masala, and that is one main attraction why we order a North Indian Thali. They even serve extra Paneer and even extra Payasam if we ask for, or sometimes even without asking! The service is great. One of the huge plus points of this restaurant. Never met an unpleasant waiter there! We have been there with kids too. They treat us well, and they treat the kids extremely well, even during their rush hours. High chairs available.
EDIT: This is a delayed edit. Should have posted this a long time ago. We went there to get Onam sadya parcel last Onam. We couldn't make an advanced booking due to some communication mistake. The rush there, especially for the parcel, was too much. There was not much extra available, and yet we waited for sometime. While waiting downstairs, we happened to chat with a management personnel (Or may be the owner himself - not sure thought). On casual chatting, he asked where we came from, and why we were waiting. On hearing we drove a good 20+ kms to get the parcel but unfortunately we couldn't get it, he personally went upstairs to the parcel place, and ensured that we get 4 parcels Onam sadya parcels. I wonder who would do that these days. Kudos to the management, and the whole team. Never been disappointed by this place. Always on the top of...

When it comes to Veg Kerala Meals, I am a big fan and would prefer it to any other type of cuisine when I am visiting Kerala.
My Mom visited a few years ago and had told me about the yummy sadya. When I visited Kochi in June 2024, I got a chance to relish the lip smacking meal.
Whenever I eat meals on a banana leaf, I always choose the biggest one so that each of the items can be served in the specified place without it looking overcrowded.
The server came with the items one by one and finally I asked him in Malayalam, 'Brother, are you done serving? I would like to take a photo!' He replied yes you may.
Puli inji and Avial are my favorite items. On that day, I remember having an early and light breakfast so I could do complete justice to this meal.
While the rest of my family are North Indian, I sat in the corner, ate my meal slowly so I could enjoy each of the items. The Sadya was out of this world! It filled my stomach and I did not have space to eat anything for the rest of the afternoon and early evening.
As I have heard a lot about this restaurant, I think it is crowded any time of the day. There are two dining area sections. One is the enclosed family dining area and the other is a common one. We sat in the family one.
The servers are quick in taking the orders, ensuring it is served on time and asking if we want to order anything extra.
The restaurant is located at the junction, so no one can miss it.
I have heard that their breakfast items are good too! Must try that during...
