Dill π Bhar gaya πππ₯° What can I say more? Food reminded me of Home (Mumbai)... Ghar Jessa khanaπ― Homefood away from home π‘ Nidhi Mam (owner)... Started this outlet 2 months back - it was her dream of year's & now as a empty nester she achieved it. I went today on 7th December 2024 evening - reached after 8:30. It wasn't crowded and I thought I might be late & good might have got over π But we were served by Nidhi Mams hubby and other staff immediately. They recommend their new unique dish which the cook made it on trail bases the Pan bhaji. It was crunchy n yummy π We ordered - Palak paneer, Dal Makhani, Thepla, Masala Khichdi, Jeera Aaloo & Lassi. We wanted Khandvi but it was over . However the owner kindly arranged for us to get a few. Very kind of them as we came all the way from kakkanad to get that. When we arrived at the restaurant my hubby was sceptical looking at the small outlet. But the moment we savoured the food, our doubts melted away π€ It was Yummy Yummy π YUMMMMMM Though we ordered everything in half it was still filling for us both. I was so full π that I couldn't try the chaats. I missed it out π I wanna visit again to try their lunch βΊοΈ and chat items π Ambiance could be a bit better as even in evening it felt pretty hot π₯΅ becoz of the kitchen being next to the sitting. Prices are very reasonable to the food & quantity. I hope they continue in same way and get more business π₯° We truly appreciate π the service & the GREAT Food which filled my soul. π€ππ― Thanks for the...
Β Β Β Read moreWe have a special liking to north indian food especially Thali meals which only a few restaurants offer in Kochi. (And no restaurant here offers Mini Tiffin which is a wonderful menu - a combination of 5+ items in a single plate - available in top restaurant chains in Tamil Nadu only. Like Coimbatore Annapurna, A2B etc). Terribly missing it in Kerala.
Now coming to madhuban, in one word - they exceeded our expectations.
Location wise good. Calm residential area. Wide road. So lot of parking space available on the sides of the road. Interiors and Seating capacity - decent. Had a chance to speak with the managing partner who is a software firm owner in Bangalore. He started this out of his passion to deliver the best food with optimal price. And they meant it. Thali had 2 roti plus one wheat roti. Sumptuous rice (normally you get only in a small cup) and regular sabjis. And the price is just 150/- only Desserts are also priced nominally. And he vouched that they use oil very optimally thereby minimising the chance to reheat it. And grocery also - no compromise on quality. Like India gate basamati for rice. An upcoming restaurant and when they are true to their profession, we should also reciprocate.
Keep it...

This place has earned its reputation as the best spot in town for flavorful, quality food, and itβs clear why. Every dish here feels like itβs been made with care, and the freshness is unmatched.
The rotis, curries, and rice are served steaming hot, ensuring that every bite is as fresh as it is delicious. The rotis arenβt pre-cooked; theyβre made to order and come out of the kitchen so hot you can see the steam rising off them! The curries are a standout as well, each with rich, authentic spices that make for a wonderfully flavorful experience. Even the rice dishes are perfectly prepared, served just right to complement the curries and rotis.
Donβt miss the drinks here either. The Lassi is smooth, creamy, and incredibly refreshing, while the Chaasβa Gujarati buttermilk drinkβis one of the best youβll find. The Chaas is an ideal choice, especially if youβre looking for something light, cool, and perfect for balancing the rich flavors of the meal.
With its welcoming ambiance, attentive staff, and dedication to quality, Madhuban is a must-visit for anyone craving a memorable...
